I just got my order in for No. 620. In the summer of 1955, No. 620 was assigned to one of the Chicago-Williams Bay passenger trains. I got a cab ride in No. 620 at the Williams Bay yard that summer. Ned Grim was the hostler who gave me the ride. My dad rode the train pulled by No. 620, several times that summer. I met Ned again, about 10 years after he retired. So, for me, the No. 620 model is a must-have!
BLI needs to come out with Southern Railway 1380 The Tennessean it was a 4-6-2 and it was the only streamline unit that Southern had. If they do I hope it comes out in ho scale.
Modern freight cars to go with the locomotives. Plastic pellet covered hoppers like The early and late Trinity model, ARI and Greenbrier version too. Speaking of tankers, those panda bear UTLX and rainbow banded ones and specialized ones with two value covers would be nice. Also Railroad specific bulkhead like Southern's Greenville Steel cars 50' and 60' one with the truck skirting.
Hey BLI, A merry Christmas for you all. Is it still possible to join the conductors club and order one of these challengers? Greetings and happy holidays
Again nothing for N scale, what gives? I've ordered two Challengers can't get an answer when they will be in, the one engine I don't have yet is the AT&SF mountain type. All I see coming out is Ho.
Great. Can the video antenna be removed from the power car equipped with them to create one without, and can the kenefick drumheads be replaced with other drumhead graphics? That would be the point when I definitely would get some.
We have versions with and without the antennas. If you visit our website you can find which version fits what you want. Kenefick drumheads cannot be replaced because they are lit. We still think you should get some regardless!
