Looks really nice Man! Nice place to sit back have a drink and watch a movie. Great job on that bar area too. It's nice to sit back have a drink and watch a movie. What was that retro gaming thing that you have? Do you have a link?
Thanks! One day I'll get a house and build a dedicated room lol Here is the guys number that built me the retropie gaming system. Super cool guy. +1 772-766-7499 His name is Chris
Not a Cheezee set up by all means.Just goes to show you don't half to spend a fortune to have a good hometheater Love what you did with the space will subscribe.
BenQ HT3550 specs shows a tiny amount of vertical shift only. Horizontal alignment has to be perfect and did you align the lens vertically to the top of the screen? How much shift does your screen size would you say you have available, 5 inches?
Yeah the center of the lens is aligned with the top of the screen, give or take a little. I'd say I have maybe 6" of vertical shift. More up than down though.
@@Subacabra Okay great. I am planning to cover my ceiling up with some black material too but not sure how to go about it. I don't want to use nails all over the ceiling. I want it to be easy because I'm lazy. How did you keep the velvet up there?
@@Subacabra Thanks for the replies. They're really helpful. I have semi glossy white vaulted ceilings to deal with. The projector's own light reflects off the walls and back on to the screen and messes it self up not to mention the 5.1 audio bouncing all over the damn place lol so black cloth and acoustic foam are going up pronto.
looks great man! nice comfortable space you have there. those subs look amazing as well. I have a SVS PB 4000 and I love it, but I still have thoughts of selling it and going with the PSA S3611 since they are similar price. What are your thoughts on sealed vs ported? Ive been of the mindset that I want as much output as possible down to say 20hz so that justifies my use of ported....for now anyway haha
Honestly I like the sealed better. I previously had 4 ported PSA subs. Two v1500's and two 15v's. While I loved them and they sounded amazing, there's something about these sealed 18's that just destroys my place lol
I hear ya. With my space I have a curiosity to try dual opposed 18s as well, not to mention dual subs. Id probably get annihilated as well haha Those PSA speakers are next for me. Im gonna get MTM 210Ts and MTM210C first than get the surrounds later. They aren't cheap though. Gotta say Im proud of myself for holding out and not just getting cheaper speakers instead of the ones I really want. Its seriously been since PSA announced the speakers Ive been wanting them. Hopefully they will be worth the wait.

@@strobe9 I used thumb tacks to get it where I wanted then replaced them one by one with push pins.
