Yeah im on an AM-69 atm and trying to fix a dead right channel. So far the power amp board voltage readings are all fine, preamp board isnt. Multiple readings are far too low around the dual opamp. My guess would be some old caps died or the mitsubishi opamp dead? gonna replace all and keep fingers crossed it works again :)

Ive got the same one, its clicking randomly like its epileptic. sounds like a relais freaking out...

My 30 years old AM-67 has the same problem, even after disconnecting all IN and OUT cables (save power). It tends to click more while I am switching the output selector, clicks a lot when left on A+B, a bit less on A and on B, and does not click at all with output switched to OFF. Could you eventually identify the cause of the freak clicking sound?

This causes a faulty ALPS speakers switch. You can see them at the time 04:54 in the video. Very often, the Direct switch is also defective, as is the Rec selector switch - when digital is selected, the LED of one of the digital outputs flashes. I think that these switches can be properly repaired only by disassembly, they are oxidized. The contact spray (in injection syringe with needle) help a little - then you must rotate with the switch for "half an hour". On the other hand, the bass, treble and balance potentiometers as well as the volume can be repaired with contact spray quickly and without problems (the contact spray can get into them better, they are open from below, only volume is closed). I also usualy repair microswitch with good contact spray. I hope I helped, today I repaired this amplifier - all switches (after contact spray i was rotate very long time), potentiometers, microswitch and supercapacitor was defective.

@@milanpodloucky7552 ahoj, jaký kontaktní sprej používáš? Všichni mě zrazují od kontaktolu. Mám AM-67 a buď mám zanesenou dráhu volume potenciometru a nebo už je vydřená (pravý kanál se chytne až přidám hlasitost). Díky za odpověď

не знаю как этот акай, был техникс 85 года, su-v1x, не впечатлил совсем, правда на крупной микрухе. а вот муз.центр маранц 540 на аn 7164 очень впечатлил (в качестве усилителя), а современые маранцы 6003 и 8003 полное фуфло.
