Some DRAGONFLIES and DAMSELFLIES from the Port Alfred area

I found a variety of dragonflies and damselflies when I was in the Port Alfred area a few days back. Featured here are: Common Citril, Eastern Blacktail, Highland Spreadwing, Jaunty Dropwing, Julia Skimmer, Red-veined Dropwing and Black-splashed Elf.

What is their lifespan?

Most live between 5 to 10 weeks only. Sometimes their larval stage is a lot longer and that takes places in the water.
