Looking at an overview pic posted elsewhere this entire neighborhood was like this... rows of homes burnt to the ground and then a random row of 2-3 homes not touched at all except for burnt grass in the yard and then more rows of burnt homes. Crazy how it looks like the fire chooses which it wants to take and hops right over others.

I moved away from Louisville in the summer. While my former home survived, I used to live in this complex when our family was first looking for a house to buy. So sad seeing what happened to the town. This was a horrific situation for them but I am thankful the wind died when it did, otherwise much of the rest of the town would have burned.
