Is hidden fate lowkey a scam cuz the price discrepancy between the packs and the cards is so huge, like you already pull the one of the chase card within the set+ 4/4 and you can’t still make your money back
Honest question back. Are those card prices for ungraded cards? Because if it’s raw and they grade them the prices can go way up right? (I’m no expert tho so idk)
@@DisturberOfThePeace First, Grading costs money (price change depends on how much you are willing to wait). Second, it does not guarantee a 10-grade return. Otherwise, normally you would be right about graded card value rising for a good amount. But guess what? Even if he gets a PSA 10 Mewtwo, he would barely break even (last sale $86) despite Mewtwo being one of the most expensive on the set.
My lyckiest pull in any tcg is a Sheoldred, the Apocalypse in magic the gathering, it’s going at like 70-80 euro. But like 8 years ago I bought Pokémon packs and got the Lysandre special treatment and the professor Sycamore special treatment and a Legendary Treasure foil Versatile Mew and a Gold Vs Seeker.
My recommendation for a booster box of lost origin. There’s scaling teeth a few things good in those that’s how I got a lot of my very expensive cards.

Just so everyone here is aware. That guy who sold you that charizard box has his booth at the Frank & Son collectible show over in California. His is the first card booth to the left as you walk in. He overprices everything he has, and upon talking with other vendors and regulars, it’s agreed that he’s probably the biggest A hole you’ll find there. Example: tried to buy a hidden fates Great ball collection box and he wanted $275 for it and $300 for the Ultra ball collection box. I ended up buying BOTH of them that SAME day for $300 from another vendor.

Pricing cards the way these guys do is wrong. Market on cards is based only on 1 basic thing it covers every resale market "Your Item Is Only As Valuable As Someone Else Is Willing To Pay" something could sell for .10 1 year then bounce up to 5k the next
