A brilliant video, just a minor point the music volume was a little loud and drowned out Mark’s commentary on the camper build. Your video’s have become a regular view in our household and especially when we are away with our caravan.
also background songs with lyrics means two lots of talking at once which clashes a bit sometimes maybe. great video good to see things coming along nicely
To add to your tip about not filling the toilet flush up too much, if you do, then drain into an empty bottle so you can re- use rather than throw away.
Great information on your videos mark, any chance you could do a review on the Bailey Pamplona 2018 model if you have one of course, keep up the good work 👍👍
Toilet flush, empty it completely. If it freezes it’s the water in the pump does the damage. If it freezes, water expands, and breaks it, same with any left in taps. Hence leave open.
Great video, like the time lapse, but like others mention, music overpowers your voice. Now with my "devil's advocate hat on" and having worked in a garage on the tools. How do I get to the fuel pump, or sender unit? It'd be a real PITA doing those jobs having to remove a fuel tank. Have you considered placing the gas locker on the dead side door, and moving the electrics at the rear of the van? Hat off and stowed away 😉 Look forward to the next build update, and your usual content of course 👍
Great work on the build Mark, do enjoy vids like this. One tip I can give you, for a change,😉, check your background music when your dubbing, was a bit loud and drowned you out.
As always, Mark, a really interesting video. We are lucky enough to park our caravan at home, so I keep it plugged into the electric constantly. Inside the caravan, I use a small convector heater set to frost protection it keeps it nicely aired and dry. One question I have. Last year, instead of a full cover I used a top cover, however, on removal I found marks along each side that would only come out using silky. I'm loathe to use the cover this year. What are your thoughts?
Some protection on the straps, some mentioned pipe insulation on the straps, these can still leave slight marks but should come off easily. Maybe some old towels or cloth may also work. 👍
Mark, in regards to your lighting controller, SURELY, it needs to go NEAR the entrance then you’re not fumbling in the dark to find it ( Don’t do a Swift) not seen any additional insulation going in!
Thanks, this will be just the kitchen lights, more switches already by the door, will cover next time. No additional insulation due to the canvas roof, we are looking at heating options though, so possibly a diesel heater 👍
Hi Mark, Looking forward to picking up the coachman in a couple of weeks. Could you recommend a Brand, Type, Size of leisure battery please. Regards Phill
Thanks Mark just looking at it my LED strip lights have a USB are you going to do a video on the installation ? on a different note if you get another lusso let me know cheers
It's more the useability of the lithium battery, because they have a management system, you can run the battery right down without causing damage, where damage would be caused to a standard battery if discharged, so for off grid use the lithium battery will be able to cope with the discharge when being used, it can then be recharged from around 10% and no damage is done to the battery, they will have a better cycle rate, so can be used more times than a standard battery, so although more expensive, it should last longer and be more usable. They will also then take a little less room than a standard battery, so in a small camper it makes a lot of sense. Hope this makes sense 👍
Mark we have an island bed, in our caravan how do you suggest we winter protect it, do we leave it down or up with mattress off and standing up, as if we were to leave mattress on and up surely it could damage the struts that hold it up! we would be grateful for your thoughts, and advice
We looked at this above, I think a good idea is to remove the gas struts, or use something to hold the bed up. When you buy new gas struts they are in the out position, so as long as the pressure is off them, I think that is the best way to have them over the winter. 👍
We're looking to maybe doing long-term stays in Spain so we'd certainly be interrested in your tips fir taking a caravan abroad. We've been abroad a few times in our motorhome and interested now in any differences with a van. Thanks
Great video Mark, Thanks for the chat about our Kia Sportage yesterday. Lovely to meet you and Mick.. All the best Carl and Kerry.
Thanks, you too! 👍
Well no one can say you don't roll your sleeves up and have a go.. 🎉 well done looks great 😃👍🏽

Thanks Chris, I'm not sure why when it uploads the music is always louder than when we edit the video, so will try to sort this in the future 👍
Mark, I’m sure Jason can give some advice 😂😂😂

Yes I need to check when uploaded, seems fine on the editing program, but when uploaded it's not. 👍
Great video mate I just put a 280ah eco worthy battery in my motorhome, it’s a great bit of kit.
The Eco worthy seem good products at a sensible price, the reviews look very good, so very happy to recommend them. 👍
Nice one mate
Great work on the build Mark, do enjoy vids like this.

Hi Phil, for normal use the numax are good, go outdoors do the ncc class batteries, 105ah is good and a sensible price with the member card. 👍
Hi Mark were did you get the led light controller from I have searched and searched thanks

Why a lithium battery? How much bigger would a lead acid battery be?

YOUR MUSIC IS TOO LOUD CAN’T HEAR YOU😫😊
Thanks, noted for next time 👍
