    Read our full review of the iRocker All-Around 11' here: www.supboardguide.com/irocker...
    The iRocker All-Around 11’ 2020 is a fun, stable SUP board that works well for both novice and experienced users. We have rated this board a 9.8 out of 10.0 stars for its excellent construction, easy handling, and versatile design.
    The 11’ length makes the iRocker All-Around board perfect for larger or taller riders who want a very stable SUP. It is also a great option for people who like to SUP with kids -- as there is plenty of room for little ones to ride along and move around. Beginner to intermediate riders who want the perfect all-around SUP will love the iRocker 11’.
    The iRocker All-Around 11’ is ideal for flatwater conditions as it is stable and excellent to learn on. It also works well in easy streams and rivers where you don’t have to maneuver too much. This board would work in small surf conditions and could even be fun in open ocean waters (but not heavy surf). iRocker has also added more D-rings, extra bungees for storage and even action and fishing mounts to the All-Around 11’ which makes it excellent for fishing! You can haul yourself, your gear, and even use one of the action mounts to secure your fishing pole.
    The iRocker All-Around is 11’ long, 32” wide, and 6” thick when fully inflated. It weighs 24 pounds and supports a max weight of 435lbs! This board is constructed of a triple-layer composite PVC with a drop-stitch inner core for structural integrity. This design has reduced the overall weight of the board by 20% -- which makes a huge difference! The board should be inflated to 15-18psi and the included iRocker dual-action pump makes this quick and easy. The All-Around 11’ fins are nylon, with a quick-lock removable box that makes them a snap to get on and off. The paddle is a carbon-blend shaft for durability with a light-weight nylon blade.
    iRocker has designed the All-Around 11’ to be both stable and manageable. Both the size and structure of the board make it so you can walk around, do yoga, and navigate with kids. While this may not be the best board for paddling down a Cat 3 river, it handles great in lakes and light waves and we found it to be quite maneuverable when dodging a few bushes, trees and rocks.
    Tracking on the iRocker All-Around 11’ is impressive and the tri-fin design keeps it in line on the water. While inflatables typically don’t glide as well as hard boards, the All-Around 11’ cuts smoothly through the water so you don’t feel bogged down while paddling -- even when loaded with gear and/or passengers.
    The iRocker 11’ All-Around is a great board for general use. It works well for new riders who want to feel stable in the water. It is great for fishing with the added cargo area and fishing mounts. And it is fun for experienced riders who want to carry kids, gear, or even just learn new maneuvers on a stable board. We recommend the iRocker All-Around 11’ for anyone who wants to learn or enjoy the perfect SUP experience!

    I spent over a thousand dollars on a Blackfin xl about a year ago. I've enjoyed the board but I started to notice the glue on the deck and board were failing in multiple places. Given the circumstances with covid I can understand receiving a flawed product but I have been absolutely appaled at the customer service I received. When I contacted customer service about what is obviously a manufacturing flaws their solution was to send me glue which damaged the paint on the board. When I contacted them again that I shouldn't have to do a self fix on an almost new board that had a manufacturing flaws, they emailed me directions on how to apply the glue. I was not offered any other solution to my problem and have had more spots on the board come apart since then. Don't risk it, buy from someone else

      Question: how and where did you store the board?
      What you are describing I've seen on inflatable boats. I had a 5 year inflatable PVC zodiac style boat that basically looked brand new for those 5 years and gave it to my parents to use as a dingy. With in the 1st year that my parents had it there were allot of the issues you described.
      When I owned it to dive off of it was sprayed with 303 uv protection, cleaned, and kept it out of the sun when not used.
      My parents kept it in harbor, no uv 303, getting blasted by the sun.... It fell apart very quickly cosmetically and some seams as well.
      This PVC stuff (nearly all the PVC boats are made with Korean PVC materials out of a couple factories and I suspect these boards are no different) really needs some sort of uv protection, can't be stored in the sun, and when out of the water not being used for a bit needs to be slightly deflated. The boats generally have a pressure release valve but I don't see one on this product so if fully inflated in the morning, left on the beach or dock in the sun the air will expand and over stress the seams.... This happens on zodiac style boats with drop stitch floors that have no release valve (nearly identical construction as these inflatable boards).

    Thanks for the great video! I'm looking at either the iRocker All-Around 11' or the Model XL. I plan to do some SUP fishing, SUP fitness and general flat water paddling. Suggestions for one over the other?

    • @supboardguide
      @supboardguide  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Abbie, thanks for asking! They are both fantastic all-around style boards. However, we would suggest the Blackfin Model XL. This is largely due to Blackfin being the premium line by iRocker and being able to accommodate for a fishing rack and sand spear (both sold separately). The Blackfin Model XL also has a larger surface area than the iRocker AllAround 11' which allows for a very stable ride for SUP Fitness. However, you truly can't go wrong if you chose the iRocker All-Around 11' either.
      We are currently uploading an in-depth review of the Blackfin Model X (similar to XL, just smaller) today which hopefully makes the decision just a little bit easier for you!

    • @supboardguide
      @supboardguide  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Matthew, we haven't paddled the 11'6 Nautical yet (it's on its way). However, based on what we've seen, I'm guessing that the new Nautical will be closer to this than the Sport. The Sport is thinner than the 11' All-around both in the middle and the tail of the SUP, and the 11'6 Nautical has the same width dimensions as the All-Around (32" in the middle, 16" in the tail). We'll have the Nautical review up soon, so stay tuned!

    • @supboardguide
      @supboardguide  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      James, I'll be honest - I'm not too familiar with the bixpy fin adapter. From bixpy's website it looks like you would need a standard US fin box. In that case, the iRocker All-Around 11' would not work as it comes with the snap-lock fins.
      Please let me know if you have other questions or need help finding a board that would be a good option with a US fin box.

    Hi I’m deciding between irocker all around 10 and 11. I’m male, 160lbs, 6’1” with some paddleboarding experience. I heard that if you are above 5’11” you should go with size 11 but I like the increased meneaverability and cheaper price of size 10. Would it be a mistake to get a smaller size? Thank you

    • @supboardguide
      @supboardguide  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Typically the longer boards are suggested for taller paddlers due to taller paddlers weighing more and the extra volume of the board being able to support more weight. However, at 160lbs you are going to be more than fine on the All Around 10 as even our 6ft, 200lb tester has felt comfortable on that board. Let us know how you like it!

They often have almost new second-hand SUPs and you can even get a great deal and buy a much better board/paddle at a good price and don’t have to pay a ton of shipping to return it, or wait for a response that never comes (like irocker) …

Usually lighter paddlers have smaller blades and more flexible shaft’s, but if you go to a shop they will help you choose the best for you, and for the purpose you want to give to the SUP (surfing, cruising… etc.) Believe me that paddle is super important to enjoy your SUP, because if you start a ride and a few minutes later start to have pain in your back and shoulders because you have a “wrong paddle” you won't enjoy anything!!
