- On this episode of #RandomQuestions, Dove Cameron tells us about what the most Capricorn thing about her is, what her next tattoo will be, her favourite French phrase, a song she wished she wrote - and more.
After her more comedic roles in #Vengeance and #Schmigadoon, #DoveCameron feels like she’s at a place where she’s ready to sink her teeth into a dramatic arc. She hopes to play “maybe more romantic or maybe more gut-wrenching roles, because - I think I’m pretty public about this - but in my personal life, I’ve had quite a lot of intense experiences and there’s been a lot of loss and a lot of things that have left me feeling very in touch with the human condition and with my own sort of inner processes. And I think I’m finally ready to be able to delve into those things on camera as a different person, rather than just sort of insisting on never exposing that part of myself.”

@@user-qb1ht7fr3n I know what you mean, but just wanted to clarify that her sings definitely weren't "candy pop". she experimented on her style a lot going from indie/alt pop (waste, bloodshot, out of touch) over a rap collaboration with bia to a more dancey pop sound in lazybab and a chill pop in so good. she discussed themes of loss, grieve and legacy as well as your typical love and breakup songs :)
The "l'espirit de l'escalier" thing, relating to The Phantom, and being unreasonably hard on yourself thing are all SO relatable and hit my Capricorn moon heart 🖤She seems like such an awesome, hardworking and talented actress and artist that was forced to grow up at an incredibly young age. I'm happy to see her growth and I can't wait to see and hear about the big projects she is going to be a part of!
