What Deion did was incredible. He came in and took a team that wasn't bowl eligible, changed everything and turned it into a team that isn't bowl eligible. 🤣

Deion showed his strengths and weaknesses. He used the transfer portal to get more good players, but of course he pushes skill athletes and neglected defense and the O and D line. Also, anyone can see his game management and coaching in-game strategy are horrible.
My exact quote after Coach Prime won his 1st game of the season and the entire world jumped on his $5K sunglassed bandwagon was: "Its a marathon not a sprint" translation, Don't be so quick to crown Deion as this miracle working coach before you see the entire resume. Now, 2 months later and all the fanfare and pomp and circumstance is buried in the Colorado rockies somewhere. Everyone not named Deion Sanders played the fool during this 2023 season. Don't be surprised if it's much of the same next season in 2024
Other than his kids a Hunter ( who he tried to kill by playing every snap ). Deion has alienated the entire team and staff. Staff is leaving and recruits parents are pulling their kids out of there. Either by portal or de committing. This guy won’t win more than 4-5 games a year. Deions ego is his worst enemy.

Deion made the season about himself and his hall of fame ego, in his press conferences it was me, me, me then his disappointment in the offensive line and defensive line instead of being optimistic in the season while encouraging and a positive attitude for the building of the future. The fact is you don't play anymore, learn how to be a coach and make your players want to play for you.
The hype train has fallen off the tracks. At the end of the day, is Deion really a legitimate coach that can develop young men? Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t see Deion staying a day longer in Boulder as Colorado head coach, then Shiloh and Shadeur especially, remain as players.
Also, Deion suspended a couple of players for taking a knee during the national anthem. Regardless of your opinion on players doing that, kids see that then they see Deion's kids getting paid big bucks for commercials so essentially special treatment & they question whether the whole thing is a hype train for the Sanders family or a long-term plan to make Buffs football matter nationally
When they were 3-0 and people were raving, I said they would be LUCKY to finish 6-6. Turns out they were not lucky. And no they are not 5-7 they finished 4-8. People dont mind a little hype, but this was LOADED with it. And when you hyped and failed, people gonna deride.

I think that secretly alot of the players in the locker room aren't too fond of the over the top special treatment that shadeur and Travis hunt get 🤷
