I think the comment about another great Swede singer was Erik Gronwall, not Erik Gronberg. He and Tommy did a colab. of a Sabaton song, "Carolus Rex", you need to hear it...sooo good! ❤
Charlie , dude , haven't seen your channel pop up for a while but you just lost 10 years dropping the Mo ! Great reaction , Tommy Johansson and Erik Gronwall are two "Fantastic" singers that are way too unrecognised outside of their own country , so great job helping to share this with the world 👍Cheers from 🇦🇺
Thank you for such an interesting, emotional and sincere review. Well, Tommy is Tommy. Talented, brilliant. An amazing singer and musician. All his covers are masterpieces. A unique voice that captivates from the first notes, and great musical accompaniment. Thanks again for the review.
We all love hearing Tommy's talents , but he should have been arround in the era of the hair metal bands , his voice is naturally suited to that era and style. Would be great to see him find his neich with " today's audience" and see him really take off on the world stage , he is more than good enough 👍
Tommy is incredible, both as a singer and as a musician. Great songwriter too, I hope you will check out his band Majestica. Songs Above The Sky and A New Beginning are a great start. Thanks for your reaction
It's great to see someone enjoying like you with a Tommy's song. I absolutely love his voice and every song he covers is amazing. By the way, you have a very nice voice talking, I'd like to hear you singing. Thanks for your interesting comments
Thanks for a great reaction, you really know your music ❤. Tommy is fantastic in every way, we all love him ❤By the way he is 6"5. You got a sub from me with a hope of more Tommy 😃
Ah , but my man Joakim has the best "suiting voice" for Sabatons sound and lyrics . Strong and Matter of Fact reinforces the battles Sabaton portrays with excellence . Tommy's got a fantastic voice and range but should have been born in the eighties - nineties . He would have schooled the likes of Sebastian Bach and Axle Rose on "consistent live singing" . 😁🤘
@@troygerencer1620 Tommy was actually born in the eighties (1987 to be exact), I guess what you are saying is that he should've been born to be active in those years xD
A great performance from a great performer especially his vocals. A very good guitarist also. And Charlie, I am very happy you can see and appreciate Tommy's talent. Great reaction 👏😊❤
Hi, Charlie! I really enjoy your reactions. Thank you; I am subscribed. Wanted to tell you that Tommy himself said in one his interviews that he is 6'4. The internet has him at 6'5. Just interesting, huh? This guy is exciting to listen to, thanks so much for your reactions to him. Appreciate sharing your education in music.
Thank you for the reaction! Tommys version is a great piece 👌🏻 🎶♥️🎶 If you are open to listening to a Swedish version of A Holy Night (Å Helga Natt) I can recommend that now that christmas soon is here, or save it a few weeks. Have you looked in Erik Grönwall? He has a great catalog and a even more incredible story. Just a tip you don’t going to regret it!
If you look when he plays his guitar you can see that he's big. The guitar seems to be very small. It's the first time that I seen your chanel, It's a great reaction!
I just discovered your reaction to Tommy’s “ It’s all coming back to me” just wanted to say that in one of Tommy’s Q andA videos he said he was 6’ 4.8 feet tall 😱😱😱😱 yea, big guy!!
Jim Steinman wrote this song while he was still working with Meatloaf. Meatloaf begged Jim to let him record this, but Jim refused, saying he wrote the song with a female vocal in mind. Steinman and Meatloaf split after BOH2 and Steinman put together the all female band, Pandora's Box, comprised of mostly musicians Jim had worked with in the past, including Ellen Foley, who had sung the female vocal in the recording of "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights." Celine asked Jim permission to record the song, and Jim co-produced her version. Eventually, Meatloaf and Steinman would reunite, and Meatloaf finally got to record this song. Tommy's vocals here remind me of Meatloaf's power and clarity.
Yes, Tommy is simply great.... I recommend you his other songs, and also other singers like Erik Grönwall (I Will Always Love You, and many more...), Dan Vasc (Metal singer performs "Amazing Grace"), the first one is (and many more). 👍👍👍👍 U will try
Erik Gronwal's I Will Always Love You is absolutely masterful. His tone and range are perfectly suited for it. Dan Vasc does the best version of My Heart Will Go On. Tommy is awesome when you want a smoother sound without the metal grit and belting screams. The 3 of them are the perfect all around rock/metal masterclass.
Great analysis as always! Thanks for adding another facet to metal! The rabbit hole gets deeper and deeper. So I recommend the other Swedish Tommy: Tommy Karevik the singer of KAMELOT and SEVENTH WONDER. I would start with Sacrimony: (Live: th-cam.com/video/1WvWbUgCcJw/w-d-xo.html or the awsome video: th-cam.com/video/LvWT-7l6vJU/w-d-xo.html and it would introduce another two metal highlights: Alissa and Elize)
I’m not a fan of Celine Dion but Tommy is something different and to me makes arguably a better job than she did, but that’s in the ears of the beholder. I’ve always thought he had a good voice but not as good as his guitar prowess! Nice detailed reaction!
How about checking out a Young family band called Liliac doing original song called Not Afraid the extended version delete singer has a unusual voice. You don’t hear much in women singing this way.

Ex-Guitarrist now. He left this year to pursue his own projects full time. The old guitarist Thobbe Englund has rejoined the band.
