We and my other half visited Japan last May, as a graduation gift to ourselves, and having spent 7 days in Tokyo and Osaka road tripping in a new Prius of all cars, we found ourselves so difficult to let go of all that we've gotten used to and be fond of in Japan. So much so that, despite spending most of our savings in Japan already, we quickly booked another trip to Japan in January this year, and recently completed our round trip from Nagoya to Takiyama, back to Tokyo, just like what Ethan and Jack did. You guys are so right in saying that Japan is a very diverse and, in some ways, extreme country, on one hand people are all extremely polite and helpful while giving a sense that they are very restrained; on the other hand when they get let loose, they just do whatever they like in a very Japanese way. As shown in the video, they don't have the police saying 'no' to them on Touges when they drift. They don't even have speed cameras, people speed over 20km/h on average above the speed limit and the police don't give a damn. The secondhand culture is also so vibrant in Japan, from secondhand car parts in UpGarage to secondhand cars that we can only crave on adverts. They park these 'unicorns' on the street as if they're normal cars like we do with Fiestas for goodness sake. That's why I love Japan so much, and having spent nearly a month in the past year roadtripping across Japan, I can't help but just exclaim how accurate this video captures Japan. You guys have done a brilliant job with this channel. A perfect blend of travel / tourism with a sprinkling of car culture. One day I want to tour japan and as petrol head it feels like a pilgramage, but there is sooo much more to that country than cars. Amazing work chaps.
5:39 The people behind seem to be hiding from the camera
Best video so far guys, you get better and better for each video. Love the format, editing and of course you are naturals at making this type of content. God bless and lots of love from Norway.
This video length requires some king papers!
You guys hit the nail on the head with your product.. Smashing transition to what is fantastic content. ❤
This whole thing is really coming along nicely. At first i wasn't sure if the focus of your channel would work out for me but it's great content so far. I enjoy the layed back vibes while not getting boring at the same time. Production value helps that matter a lot and the pacing is nice, not too in depth but not too superficial either. Really looking forward to what you'll be up to in the future. Thanks guys! /e would love to see you take a go at Norway some time!
Guys this content is golden! Loving the hour long video! All the B-roll is great! This is not only a great video with you guys having fun but also really informative about how cheap Japan is! I'm definitely gonna be heading there next year! Keep it up guys
Happy to see long video, tomorrow I'll finished it with the coffee!!! And somehow some cars get involved, your amazing way! Travel, adventure, joy, satisfaction, happiness and Fun, educational way as well. You're amazing mates! You 2 guys
The boys are abroad in Japan, doing a journey across Japan, being very affable!
Love to see it!
time to meet chriss broad
Best thing I've watched on YT for a while, the 54 mins absolutely flew by
I miss Japan so much. I want to come back there next year. Thanks for discovering new places for exploring guys!
Loved the video, the Judith Chalmers Wish You Were Here summary at the end, but also the honesty regarding costs. Too many channels just do a thing and never mention actual real world spend.
Great editing, information and humour. Excellent stuff lads, you guys are killing it.
Absolutely stunning country, so glad I've been a few times, but not had chance to travel around.
Love the food, the culture, the people 🇯🇵 🏴
love this style of roadtrip, slow travel, seeing stuff and the snapshots of weird cars are exactly they way ive done all my eurotrips. nice one lads.
also massive props to the camera work and editing, this looks like massive budget stuff which is super impressive
Where I didn't really 'feel' the Iceland video, this one hit in all the right places. Enjoyed every second of it. Makes me want to go to Japan even more!
Was so gutted when you guys left and with Alex but now we’ve got content from you guys + auto Alex + top dead central who would have thought! Appreciate the hour long video and content you guys are pushing on a new channel. Wish you all the most success and look forward to every video you all put out. Locked in with notifications and liking every video to help you grow. Never have I ever bought a CD or merc of any brand/celeb before but I will most definitely be purchasing the new merch! Thank you!! ❤🎉
The production on this video is epic. So so impressed and you're quickly becoming my favourite TH-cam presenters 😊
Of all the videos and TV shows I’ve seen about Japan over the years, I think this may be the most accurate of what it is actually like to visit Japan.
I’m not gonna compare the channels because I love them all for different reasons. I pray this one is financially viable as I presume these are super expensive to make. But I absolutely love Jack & Ethan. Great work gents.
Lads these videos are brilliant but please don't forget why we love you both...don't forget to throw a few car videos in the mix to.....loving the channel and you bounce off each other seamlessly....
