you need to flash the ecu to adapt the electronics to the new exhaust you have. the bike will not work as it should. I would mount a high flow k & n or Bmc filter. I also recommend that you change the quickshift rod. it should be a little longer. the shift lever must be at 90 degrees to the rod as well as the pushrod or shift sensor, also at 90 degrees to the rod. it can give you problems with the neutral in the gear change
I'm in So Cal as well (just switched from a Mv Agusta F4R to the RSV4 RR) and do weekends @ Chuckwalla. Who do you ride / do track days with? I usually do track days - Chuckwalla w/ my friends @ MotoForza. .
David Boston so far I’ve only done track days at Auto Club in Fontana. I signed up for a track day at Chuckwalla last month, but had to cancel because I broke my finger.

Were you able to pass california inspection. I am worried about emissions and sound level, because with the yoshi slip on you end up removing the cat. Please let me know. Love your video. Thanks.
shreyas kunjir California doesn’t do vehicle inspection or check emissions on motorcycles. I am a little concerned about the amazingly beautiful sound this bike makes, but I’ll cross that road when I get ticketed for it. So far I have ridden past numerous law enforcement and so far no one has given me a second look. 🤞🏻🙏🏻
I had the race ecu flash done. I also installed a Sprint air filter. Prior to getting the ecu flash done the bike lost a lot on the bottom end. There was a noticeable difference after getting the flash done. There was also a noticeable difference after installing the air filter.
@@SouthernSportbikes awesome Thanks for the info 👍 Thinking of options I have a 2 year warranty so not keen on jeopardizing the warranty but I would still like options other than than the factory can Been on the forums and such Everyone has different options on the exhaust options plus optimal performance I like the looks of the yosh or graves But again trying for sound plus performance without compromising the warranty Just coming off a 1299, my first Aprilia Can wait to ride Anyway great video ,nice bike and thanks for the replies
RSV4 RF talk to your dealer about the warranty and putting on a slip on exhaust. My dealer offered an Akropovick and SC Project that they said they would still honor the warranty.
comprehensive explanation of your accessories... this will be very useful for new and seasoned riders

Just wanna know if the cables on the servo motor was removed or it’s still there? Thanks in advance
Hey Ron, yes the cables have been removed. Thanks for watching.
Not what I would do on my next Aprilla, I need to put my next build on youtube.
You didn't even a wire tie the bike.

Thanks for the question and for watching my videos.
Did you do a race ecu? I live here in Cali and I’m having a hard time deciding what to do with my exhaust
How many miles did you get out of those Diablo Supercorsa's?
About 2,000 on the rear
Still got this rsv? Hows it being any issues?
Still runs like a champ
@@SouthernSportbikes Nice how many ks ..miles?
Hi
Just bought my first
18 RF
I like this exhaust
Curious on if you had it dyno or ecu flash
How does it run?
Thanks
