For the little corner you’ve been stumped on, I had one of those too lol I got a faux fiddle leaf tree and stuck it in that corner. Fills it out super well! That’s also the Christmas tree corner. When that time comes, I’ll just move it to a different spot in our living room. 🤷🏻♀️

Do all the individual pieces attach to each other so they don’t slide apart? I do love that all the fabric is washable. With Gilmore and the girls, you’ll be so glad you can clean things so easily. For the little corner, a set of 3 nesting boxes, with a solid back (use more of that wall paper!) They could be stools to sit upon. Or, 2 nested and smaller one on top, at angle to show the beautiful paper. Really like the fireplace, and your choices of decor. But,oh so cozy! and yet not overly filled. ❤️👍
I think your blanket ladder would be perfect in that weird corner, you could stain it to match the fireplace and it would be a perfect spot for blankets and kids can easily put them back as well.
A metal and wood circular shelf would look awesome on that wall with a few Knick knacks. It would mimic the fireplace mirror and it looks similar to the stand underneath the tv. I have one for an awkward wall and love the way it turned out.
This may seem silly but I really appreciate that you guys are dressed no differently than me, when I'm home. I see so many of these DIY videos and wonder why they're in jeans and work boots. Great video!

Looks awesome. Something you may wanna consider for the corner by the TV is a book tower. They come in different heights & materials. I have a metal one. Its really great space saving book storage. When its filled, it looks like the books are just stacked on top of one another. Amazon has quite a few different varieties.
I would do floating shelves in that corner and customize for what you and your family needs are. But I am loving the reading nook area it’s a dreams of mine for my future home. Thanks for the inspiration!! 🤩😁
For the 'blank' spot, a pretty rattan or woven basket with a throw hanging out a bit. I just completely re-did my living room...from dark leather to light cloth sofa and chairs, new wool rug, end tables and lamps. It's so much lighter and fresher. My bedroom is next, from top to bottom. I love decorating! You're very talented and energetic!

Great job! I love that you moved the tv to its own place and that you didn’t put it over the mantle. The fireplace is too gorgeous to mess up with a tv. I also love the reading nook. The room looks very cohesive and soft and welcoming.
You have a good eye for detail. I liked the nook best - the wallpaper and lights especially. I don't usually like "feature" walls, with three walls of a room white and then one patterned / painted a contrasting colour etc. I think for some reason it's difficult to get right. It can look gimmicky. However the fact that the nook space was already recessed (and different), somehow made it work.
I would definitely move the tv over just a little to the right and add some corner floating shelves in the left in the area were you want to add a chair to match your wood mantle on your fireplace.
You sold me on home reserve! I’ve got a decent size living room but a 3rd floor apartment, and haven’t bought a sectional just to avoid moving it later and with a young daughter, have been hesitant to buy anything new. Totally upgrading my living room thanks to you!

You should totally make DIY floating shelves on your large blank wall! It would break up the wall and add dimension.
For the wall that stumps you, try leaning a ladder on it with throw blankets!
Some cute open shelves would look nice too, paired with the blanket ladder. Maximum cozy :)
