I’m a bartender and I always feel like we set more trends than people realize. A tequila brand trained bartenders to box each other in local fights and then sent the winners to a large cocktail competition for the finals. This was years before any of these social media boxing events.
Boxing if anything has gotten more popular, back when Klitchko and his boring 1-2 and hug bollocks was champ the sport was nearly dead, AJ, Wilder and Fury revived the HW and the casual fans interest spiked massively.

UFC is still not more popular than boxing. Out of the top 50 PPV sales ever, boxing holds 25 spots, while UFC only has 15. Any matrix you look at from views to buys to live attendance boxing is still ahead by large margins. I respect you a lot but woefully bad take I will say ufc is way more physical but boxing takes way more skill hence the reason every time a ufc fighter even tried to face even an aging boxer they lose via tko/ or ko I think only one fight went to judges cards

I think mma is a lot harder, you need to be really skilled in multiple fighting styles to make it on a professional level.
This is an flawed analysis. UFC is one division of the entire sport of MMA. Boxing is an entire sport. Next, you say MMA “only has 15” top spots, but fail to mention that boxing is far FAR older than MMA. If you aren’t analyzing it with these things in mind, it can be easy to assume that boxing isn’t dying but it is. I’m a fan of boxing but I’m not gonna deluxe myself about its popularity in the culture. Aside from Tyson Fury , Mayweather, and a handful of others, they’re not well known like the MMA people especially with Rogan’s multi million dollar empire propping up the sport and its icons

It’s not what he says that seals the deal it’s Hasan cowering because of Sam’s ability that is the reason it won’t ever happen..
He still really wants it while you think the onus isn’t on Hasan to accept, he wants even more attention from actually getting to fight Hasan which is more than just calling him out which doesn’t make him an “artist” beta.
What happened to "It starts with words then it ends with words?". The boxing thing is pretty bad and doesn't solve anything. It's just a cheap and easy "might makes right" play out where people make money when it comes to the youtubers who are using this as a means. The problem is that the mighty aren't necessarily right (particularly on youtube) and if people can't actually handle things on the line they come in on they should be called out for their BS. If they can't handle that then leave or explain yourself and change your line.
Otherwise all things are going to come down to is "Well, this asshole was wrong but he won in a ring so he's gotta be right somehow" or "They lost in the ring then they must be a loser". It doesn't really work particularly if the mighty person wasn't right.
Looks like the Pauls have lowered the bar (again) for youtube and we have enough meathead BS artists with followings turning things to be handled on playground bully rules because the "HS rules weren't working for them enough".

This is going to sound worse than it’s intended but did you ever play any sports? The idea that two people agreeing on a set time and rules to compete against each other is the same as bullying on a playground or two meatheads at a bar is ridiculous. As much as you can believe that “violence solves nothing” there’s 100% a sense of comradery that comes from testing yourself against someone one on one, particularly something as grueling as boxing. That’s not to say I don’t agree with your stance to fight words with words, but most of the creators fighting aren’t doing it to settle beefs, it’s for entertainment. These aren’t world leaders fighting to determine laws or policy, it’s celebrities boxing for entertainment and money.
