Really dig these videos! The Woods, a trail that's been around forever. I first rode the Woods in 1997 on a specialized Rockhopper with DH tires, then rented a Schwinn 4 banger there in 1999. Fell in love with full suspension and bought a Santa Cruz Bullit as soon as I got home! Best decision ever for my beat up carcass Northstar was handing me. Haven't been there since 2000. The Woods was so much different back then. It was rated a black diamond trail.
same experience in 2011 for me! moved up from Santa Barbara and got me rear handed to me on my Trek Fuel... buying a downhill bike opened my entire biking experience wide open. love Northstar and buying the season pass each year is a big day around here!

@@ShaneScrimager Yes, I went there and did a "pedal pass" (free - rode up myself) back on Friday 9/18 when all the Forests were still closed and it was one of the few places open. Had a great time!
