Hello Bliss, I'm glad you're keeping your promise to continue following Emma. Indeed, you can now see that Emma is making a major development with her voice.
Which you could also hear at André Rieu's Christmas concerts at the MECC in Maastricht, where she sang the first verse a cappella at the start of I am dreaming of a white Cristmas. You will undoubtedly see André's hand in her evolution.
Emma has sung Alleluja before, and if you compare this video with her performance with the Maastrichter Staar choir you can see her evolution even better. Since André Rieu has had Halleluja in his repertoire for some time, I suspect that Emma will also sing this song during the World Tour that starts January 5 in Amsterdam. If you want to hear Emma sing live with André Rieu they are touring in the UK from april 18 th starting at Liverpool and ending May 18th of May Wembley London. Check on TH-cam for exact cities.Happy New Year.

About the break of the last note at 2:48. On the contrary, it sounds better musically. Yes, the word was broken - but that doesn't bother. Throughout the refrain, the melody tends towards the tonic. And finally, here is this last note with the last chord! It should be emphasized, not legato. Same thing in the last bar of the song.

The voice of Emma was a little to low in the mix, but hey, the orchestra also played beautiful. And a number of artistic choices have been made in this song, which in my opinion make it a bit more interesting than hearing the exact same renditions over and over again. And the soft and sensitive ending is a special choice that I like.

Lucy Thomas does a much better cover of this and her voice is stunningly beautiful
It seems to mee, that Emma gets a lot more response, as your Lucy Thomas.
Better is in the ear of the beholder, I like Emma's rendition better than Lucy's (which isn't to say I don't like Lucy's too).
