Fun fact when patty says flash as a question and both Barry and jay come and say yes was a comic cover. You can look it up it’s the same
Fun Fact in the comics Jay Garrick as a spedster wasn´t conected on Speed force, he was just Meta-human with superspeed and got that conection with Speed force much later becoming one of the fastest speedsters.

@penguin50279 she was sometimes annoying and nerdy and reminds me of Felicity, but wouldn't say she has no personality. She is a good person, is brave and intelligent.
Patty is great to me, she's way better than Iris, Loved her personality from the beginning.

okay sooo, jay garrick was the first flash in the comics, he was created in 1940 and had the suit he has in the show, but in 1956 the flash was reinvented and he got a new outfit, name, origin and everything, the one we all know, barry allen. But in 1961 dc decided they still wanted to have jay garrick, so they made "the flash of two worlds" a story in which barry allen meets a speedster from another world, the first ever multiverse story. So now both the golden age flash and the flash coexisted at the same time, just in different worlds. I also wanted to mention that that helmet is the most iconic part of his suit and we did actually see how team flash found it, in the season 1 finale when thawne is about to return home, a helmet is thrown from the portal and joe says what the hell is that to which thawne responds thats my queue to leave, since he`s from the future, he perfectly knows whos helmet that is
oh and a nice little detail is that when paty says flash and they both say coming is a reference to the comic I mentioned, thats the cover
