Very nice work Justin! I took your previous advice and ordered the artilier plus irons to hopefully improve my stitch lines. I'm currently using Japanese style irons and 0.8mm linen thread which unfortunately ain't giving me a refined enough look for small gods. Do you have any recommendations for thread? The one your using looks a lot smaller and I guess it's polyester or nylon(great color too), are you using a waxed thread or not?
I’m using 0.45mm Meisi Super Fine Linen Thread. You can also get it from Pro Atilier Plus. Thread size will always be in relation to your stitch length. I use 3.38 and 3.0 irons so I stitch with 0.45mm thread. I find it provides the look I want. The trad itself is a natural linen which I prefer over waxed poly threads. I do run the thread over a bar of wax prior to stitching but that is only to reduce a bit of the friction. You won’t be disappointed in the irons.
For sure, in this case the customer wanted it as slim as possible. But if you wanted to fit a phone in it a gusset would work perfectly. Thanks for watching. 🍻
i really like this pouch project... unique and right up my alley... gettin redeye to cut out template and make a go for it... i appreciate you taking the time preppin this vid in order to share your creativity with us... ty

@@NorfolkHandmade thanks for the suggestion! I updated my order with the thread 👍
Well done. I love the patience and attention to detail. - - off topic a little, but was wondering what the background music was? Super relaxing.
Thanks for watching, unfortunately I don’t remember the song name.
Seems like a pleated/gusseted version would be cool too

I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching.
I would've liked to have seen how you fold, glue and complete the zipper ends.
Thanks for watching Michael, I will focus on that detail when the next project comes up with a zipper.
Hello. What ounce leather is used on this project?
This is about 2-3oz.
