Remembering Baldev mamaji ki manyari shop which did exceedingly well. Our shops were right up the stairs coming from khad, outside the gate. Our house was just before Khanna Mohalla. My 2 mamis are still living there.

I went to Jaijo in 1965 when my cousin was DFO trainee there. Very old nice houses. Govt should develope it as door way to HP and Kangra area.

Most beautiful,most greeny,most fertile soil with peaceful and loving respectful people. I was born in jaijjon, during 80s it was bustling town near bus stop at the top where we used to for market, buy peeli barfi and pede.
When eve we used to visit jaijjon we go to govt school down the hill, our Nani's house was just apposite to school. The Aeris were the principles of the school at that time. I feel sad when we see it this way now. People have for jobs to distant hinterland around the world. Still people do not know each other as they have lost the touch, but I request every one to keep blessings jaijjon do Abba, may it bustle again some time in future , even if v r not there to feel and look at it. I am Vivek Kalia now settled in Sillicon vally of India PUNE.

Excellent work and well informed. I encourage you to make more videos like that. There r many TH-camrs .. they might have more viewers but not great video. Babbu you need to promote your Chanel or better tag and title. “ this can be like that old Punjabi heritage “ more viewers can attract. This is just locally or doba area. Just change your tag like Indian Pakistan partion etc.. you need to work on your marketing.. that’s all you need!

Do they allow Foreigners to come and live in Joijon Doaba? I wanna buy one of those
houses! I really like them, that crumbling little Old Brick House that has a Cathedral like
frontage. It is beautiful and it looks really old. I dont understand how the Indian Govt
havent stepped in to save and restore these old historical structures as Heritage
Buildings and give them the unique and special Status they deserve because of it.
It's amazing why they dont do that, as I would've thought they would as part
of India's heritage with historical places of cultural significance. Amazing!
Once again if she was totally re-gutted, restored, refitted, & reimagined in a modern
contemporary way where her integrity remains in tact with the keeping of her
bones and structure, whilst gutting everything else, she could well be the
FINEST HOUSE ON THE PLAINS WORTHY OF A FEATURE IN SOME OF THE BEST
ARCHITECTURAL INTERNATIONAL MAGAZINES.
She's a beauty and I dont even have to see the inside.

raise funds to upgrade the village and get the ball rolling one house at a time.

and historical significance. Good idea? And man there's those GATES again!
Its like in my mind I imagine I'm on my way to Heaven and, I'm passing through
all these different Gates to get to The Big Boss! Its unusual but its all over
India in their architecture, and then to back it up there's those 20inch thick Concrete
nothings gonna get thru this sucker Fence! Only the Queen has Fences like that,
they must've got the idea from yous lol. Amazing :)
Wow look at that Courtyard and Stairwell (To Heaven again) they really know how to make stuff
that lasts the test of time, and what about those decorative Wall Plaques they look like a large
Stamp on the side of that Temple its awesome.

My nanka village, jaijon doaba in distt hoshiarpur punjab. Once upon a time it was a flourishing village. It's buisness ties were with Yerevan which is in present china.The businessman of those times prior to partition use to travel on camelbacks and ponnies to Yerevan via shimla. Businessman use to take cotton cloth and spindles to china and use to bring back boskii cloth from there. Partition of india brought an end to this buisness, which resulted in migration of business class to the nearby towns of garhshankar, nawanshahar, and hoshiarpur.
