  • I would describe Port St John Florida as mostly residential that’s a little rural, maybe even country. Not that there are homes on large lots, but most of the lots are near 0.25 acres. It’s because of the lifestyle I see driving through Port St John. It is not uncommon to see quad runners along the roads or in empty lots. It’s not uncommon to see airboats or bass boats in a driveway or alongside the home. I also see a lot of RVs in the driveways too.

Avoid homes that are near the railroad tracks. Brightline plans to have high speed trains on the Florida East Coast tracks. There was a plan for Brightline to have a terminal at Port Canaveral to access the cruise ships but the plan has been cancelled. Brightline has decided build a terminal in Aventura (downtown Miami) for those who are trying to get to the cruise ships. There are no plans for Brightline to build a terminal in Brevard County. PSJ has relatively little crime There is a Christmas parade every year and lots of young people participate. Great report Eric.

Jeff, thanks for finding the video & for your comments. I know when the train starts running from Orlando to Miami, we will not have a stop in Brevard County. There will be one eventually either in Cocoa (probably near 528) or in Melbourne (probably near 192). Right now both cities are trying to convince Brightline they are the right location. I am looking forward to my 1st ride on it. We used the railway to get around the UK on a recent trip & it was a great way to get around & explore

@@EricLarkin You are much more optimistic than I am about brightline. They have about 7 billion in debt and for a transportation company their logistical planning is pathetic. They are either first or second place in U.S. for railroad fatality accidents. They thought Disney was going to be thrilled to partner with them but Disney Corp told them to take a hike. Disney may be waiting until Brightline is bankrupt to start a hostile takeover. I hope you are successful with your youtube channel.
