It's enjoyable watching you fish. You make kayak not seem too bad. I think the foot pedals are ver helpy After kayaking a bit, I discovered that a V-bottom jon boat with a gas motor and electric trolling motor costs about the same, is just will get you to the same spots. Also, you can take a friend, and I even put a bimini top on mine to keep cool in the summer. Bu the way, The flounder are starting to come inshore already. Spring came early. Rockfish are already here, too. You just can't keep them yet. Best wishes
Yes thankfully this trip was better. It has been improving in all locations it seems. Nice meeting you as well, will be fishing NC for a bit but plan to hit up a new location in VA soon!
So when you throw this rig are you reeling it across the bottom? Or are you just casting and reeling. Just trying to figure out how fast I should be reeling.
It varies honestly. I try all types of retrieves until I found the one they are in the mood for. This day it was a moderate bouncing across the bottom that they liked.
