    The first step involves etching the wafers to create a pyramid-like surface, reducing reflectivity from 30% to 11%. The etched solar wafer is then sent to a diffusion furnace where Phosphorous Gas is diffused to create an N-Type semiconductor. Excess phosphorous residue is subsequently removed. In the plasma-enhanced vapor deposition wafer, the wafers undergo antireflective coating using Silicon Nitrite in another furnace, reducing reflectivity to 6%. Combined with etching, the overall reflectivity is reduced to 1% within a special spectral range. Aluminum paste is applied to the rear surface of the solar wafer to enhance cell efficiency, while silver paint is screen printed on the front and rear surfaces for positive and negative electrode functionality, respectively. These cells are tested using a sun simulator, and quality control is conducted at every step, from wafer receipt to solar cell packaging. Finally, the completed cells are sent to the module assembly station.

    I am asking you a trivial question related to the soldering of copper wires on the surface of photovoltaic cells for small applications. the bonding surface has exfoliated and I can no longer restore the electrical connection between the photoelectric cell and the device itself. what do you advise me to do to continue using the photoelectric cell? Regards

    hi, why are the corners of the wafers cut?

    Why are the corners cut off?

      because originally the mono-crystalline silicon is in cylindrical form due to the purification process. If you use it as circles you can't fit as many cells in a module, and if you cut it in squares you lose more silicon. This octogonal form it's de midterm

    Hello sun tech. Can solar panels or Modules . .. be made in custom shapes? why are we seeing rectangular panels( modules) global wide? We have a unique Architectural project designed on 3D cad and would like 4 specific shapes for solar cell coverage.

    • @saratchandra1654
      @saratchandra1654 ปีที่แล้ว

      Solar panels or modules can be made in custom shapes, including non-rectangular shapes. However, rectangular panels are the most commonly used and widely available form due to several reasons such as efficiency, standardization, market availability and aesthetics. While custom-shaped solar panels are possible, they may require specialized manufacturing processes, higher costs, and limited availability compared to standard rectangular panels. As the solar industry continues to evolve, there may be advancements and innovations that lead to a broader range of available panel shapes in the future.
