The first step involves etching the wafers to create a pyramid-like surface, reducing reflectivity from 30% to 11%. The etched solar wafer is then sent to a diffusion furnace where Phosphorous Gas is diffused to create an N-Type semiconductor. Excess phosphorous residue is subsequently removed. In the plasma-enhanced vapor deposition wafer, the wafers undergo antireflective coating using Silicon Nitrite in another furnace, reducing reflectivity to 6%. Combined with etching, the overall reflectivity is reduced to 1% within a special spectral range. Aluminum paste is applied to the rear surface of the solar wafer to enhance cell efficiency, while silver paint is screen printed on the front and rear surfaces for positive and negative electrode functionality, respectively. These cells are tested using a sun simulator, and quality control is conducted at every step, from wafer receipt to solar cell packaging. Finally, the completed cells are sent to the module assembly station.
I am asking you a trivial question related to the soldering of copper wires on the surface of photovoltaic cells for small applications. the bonding surface has exfoliated and I can no longer restore the electrical connection between the photoelectric cell and the device itself. what do you advise me to do to continue using the photoelectric cell? Regards
because originally the mono-crystalline silicon is in cylindrical form due to the purification process. If you use it as circles you can't fit as many cells in a module, and if you cut it in squares you lose more silicon. This octogonal form it's de midterm
Hello sun tech. Can solar panels or Modules . .. be made in custom shapes? why are we seeing rectangular panels( modules) global wide? We have a unique Architectural project designed on 3D cad and would like 4 specific shapes for solar cell coverage.
Solar panels or modules can be made in custom shapes, including non-rectangular shapes. However, rectangular panels are the most commonly used and widely available form due to several reasons such as efficiency, standardization, market availability and aesthetics. While custom-shaped solar panels are possible, they may require specialized manufacturing processes, higher costs, and limited availability compared to standard rectangular panels. As the solar industry continues to evolve, there may be advancements and innovations that lead to a broader range of available panel shapes in the future.

I am reminded of a letter to the editor I once read. The fellow worried that having a hydrogen tank in a car to power a fuel cell was a cataclysmic danger. Hadn't anyone ever heard of a hydrogen bomb?
when your panels say assembled IN usa, Not made in usa, most things are made in China, other country. the US? high tech stuff, don't really see. PCV from China...even glass.
I love this video, that soundtrack goes hard
Very impressive manufacturing process. And a nice video.
I have Suntech poly's and they are awesome one of the few manufactures that state honest specs

very good !!!
The project like this step by step is described on the Avasva website and many more plans you can find on that website.
hi, why are the corners of the wafers cut?
This is why I came here
Why are the corners cut off?

Is Suntech operating in Canada? Would love to see if I can implement this!
is production line is same from wafer to cell in monocrystalline and polycrystalline cell

nice to watch
Suntech powered by it panels?
william payne
what dose it take to run the power generator and can you make fr me 12kva own at what cost will it be FOB
i want to do this business to my home contry
Just do it yourself, go to inplix page and learn how .
ya good idea and i learn it superb , i am from india an importer how to get u?
mere pas bhel ka solar panel hai lekin o current nahi deta hai kya karu sujhao de
thanx alot to youtube and suntech

My biggest doubt is: how this factury is powered?
You should have your videos uploaded in high resolution.
The video is over 6 years old.
you do realize this is youtube not an opportunity to find a business partner...
y'all sure all this phosphorus and chemicals are safe to have burning on your roof at 100's of degrees?
I am reminded of a letter to the editor I once read. The fellow worried that having a hydrogen tank in a car to power a fuel cell was a cataclysmic danger. Hadn't anyone ever heard of a hydrogen bomb?
I know enough to know I don't like bombs. When they go off...
Its chemically bonded with the wafer. Did you finish highschool?
I'll take a risk over a guarantee.
***** ohhh, makes sense now why my balls hurt when I hold the laptop in my lap for too long.
Sir I am indian and I want to purchase photovoltaic cell for pannel manufacturers
Maybe you should find their contact information on Google or Yahoo... This is TH-cam.....
LOL
when your panels say assembled IN usa, Not made in usa, most things are made in China, other country. the US? high tech stuff, don't really see. PCV from China...even glass.
Blame American manufactures for marking up way too much than what's necessary for their profit margins
The more difficult part is how it is made not how it is assemble so yeah us losing opportunity in engineering of production
do some one know cheapest solar manufacturer in china
I have a friend who is solar pannel manufacturer in China, contact gongsheng07@gskjpv.com
Rebecca Hu Hi Rebecca i am indian can i get solar cells for panel manufacturing
Madhu Acharya contact forwardparts@hotmail.com
natural power
i need this
I did it with the help of Avasva solutions.
Solar Home Audio/Visual.
How is this factory powered? Lol.
sir I m from india.
I want to join suntech as my future.
what will be the procedure
so who makes all the money off the poor workers? Oh, it's Haibo Xiong
Not a video made for engineers 🙄.
nie
why is everyone doing business with these panels???
