The Veena has a big range of three and half octaves. It is therefore necessary to get used to these positions.Tthe basics in Carnatic music have some dedicated lessons that make a student understand and play in these octaves. One such interesting lesson is the Upper Octave sequences. Do practice this and get more acclimatised to the instrument.

Mam in this watch and play along series, can u do some exercises except normal that we learn and play that is, this same upper octave exercise in 2nd and 3rd string, some speed improving exercise, exercise on gamakas... This is my kind suggestion..
