This past Sunday I had the honor of playing with Randy at Dee's Ride at Lido Beach. That was the second time I had pleasure of playing with him. Besides being such an incredible talent, he is one on the least pretentious stars I've ever met . . . and I've met several in my life. When he did his solo act during the show, we all watched as he performed "Who's Behind The Door" and we all commented how timeless he was! Not only a super star in his own right, but one great guy!
Absolutely stunning performance from Randy, who must be one of the most underrated guitarists out there. His vocal is still amazing after all these years.🙌

I've been playing guitar for almost 50 years and I just wish, wish I could play this effortlessly. And don't even start on his voice longevity.... Amazing....
Knopfler with his JJ Cale-like style doesnt have the soaring vocals at all , but a tremendous lyricist and player ... Geddy was a nice call ... Hendrix and Jerry Reed got after the vocals a bit and mega-frontman mojo , but dam I think ya got the top 2
Love Zebra. I play guitar too and have owned a few 12 strings. This video just confirms what I’ve always felt about 12 string guitars: They have their place in songs and can even be the main instrument when other instruments are playing but as a single instrument playing an entire song or more, the sound gets tired sounding. Gets taxing on the ear.

Randy Jackson is a rare double threat talent on Guitar & vocals. Rik Emmett of Triumph is the other I can think of
