Killer band. I saw them open up for ZZ Top around 82-83. 1 of the best shows I ever saw.
After never hearing about this band I saw them open for Sammy Hagar at Chicagofest in August of 1983. They absolutely rocked it. Made a fan in me from the day I was lucky enough to see them. They sound as great live as they do in their recordings. You don't get that with many artists. All that sound and great music from just 3 dudes is incredible.
I wish I would have caught that show. I'm seeing them for the first time at the Arcada Theater in St. Charles in a couple of weeks.
Real men not stuck up or caught up in the I was thing. Felix looks exactly the same (a little healthier) but just a regular human being. Ride that bike boy!
They sound note for note to the recording
"One More Chance" is such a great tune!!!😎👍
These guys should have been huge. I remember this song but then, what happened? Have to read about them now.
damn these guys were good...i'm 60 and i remember hearing them on the radio and buying the cassette tape, i've always had their tunes as part of my collection. they were awesome.!!!
Seen them open for Sammy Hagar in the beginning of ‘85. They blew me away and still a fan!🤘
Randy was a shredder before there were shredders. And, he can still sing like this today. A freaking awesome band.
Really? He can still hit those high notes? I'll check that out next.
Along with KINGS X these guys are the most underrated trio of all time. Both bands w e re victims off bad timing. Randy Jackson is a monster talent.
Man, I wore this cassette out when I was 15. Saw them at a college gymnasium in the Hampton's on Long Island in '83. Yes, very underrated!
I was at this show with my best friend - I was 15 at the time. I got my very first concert tee (Zebra) at this show.
I saw them in 84 at Six Flags Great Adventure, the same summer they opened the Freefall ride... great show and great ride!
I saw them this year when I was in high school. They were the opener for Loverbody and blew them away. They played VERY loud and the PA was great! My ears were hissing after their set. I'm so glad I got to see them at their peak.

Lucky...
Right Band, right era. Perfect.
The Magic preserved forever!!!! I loved this band! See them a million times!! Idolized them !
Great band that I almost forgot about….. A great power trio most likely in the shadow of the mighty Triumph at this this time in History….. Ha ha, the singer looks and sounds like Rick Emmitt. Lol! Regardless, not sure who copied who but being that Triumphs first record was a full 6 years before, it is what it is…. Regardless, a great band nevertheless 🎸🎸🎸🎸!! Thanks for posting!!
Music magic! These guys were so very good. Randy's guitar playing was extremely melodic.
I still have my ZEBRA vinyl LP from when it was released in 1983. Man that album got alot of play time. Good stuff
Awesome band! Underrated for sure.
Holy Fck Randy sounds amazing on "take my fingers from my hair". Whole band is killing it this whole set. Zebra's hey day
That’s one of the greatest songs of all time by any band.
Never heard of them. They totally rock.
My second time watching this, KICKASS show!!!
Wow this freaking great
great band....great players....so much sound from a trio. Thumbs up.
Thanks for listening
Two of my favorites from the first album were not played during this concert. Slow Down and When You Get There.
One of my favorite bands since the early 80's
wow great talent.randy has more talent in his pinky than many quartets
Wow! They were really good live!
This band is way under rated.
God, how art thy Zebra! Seriously, one of the best parts of growing up on Long Island was getting to see them live (and still do see Randy)!
My God - I love these guys, this is one of my desert island discs.
Awesome! Never got to see them in the 80's (Not sure why, 'cause I saw everybody else!). FINALLY saw them two nights ago 7/23/23 at the small venue Odeum in East Greenwich RI, doing the 40th Anniversary tour of the first album. Still rockin it! Awesome show and Whose Behind the Door was magical. Lots of us came right up to the stage for the Encore.
Thanks Randy, Felix and Guy! Great Job. Hope to see you again soon!
My God, this brings back so many great memories. So many amazing bands and albums in the late 70's & early 80's. The soundtrack of my life back then really.🙂👍🍻👏👏💯
The songs of this video are really great songs this is zebra! 🎸🥁🎸🎸🎸🎸🥁
so glad I got to see them back in the Club days on Long Island...Hammerheads,Sundance,Cheers...weekends in my high school years were seeing great bands like Zebra,Twisted Sister, etc. Glad they're still going strong
The Rush from Texas...so great and under appreciated
New Orleans Is Their Origin ! ..Keep Rockin Mark !!!!
Are you in Texas I live in Houston
@@Girrrrrrrrrrrrrl66 Texas,ElPaso
Zeppelin & triumph mixed in yes & zeppelin influenced all these bands but zebra shoukd have been so much bigger!!
Memories .... of driving out to Hammerheads to go see them live like this, back in time ... freezing on long lines to get in ..... memories 🤪
One of the greatest unsung bands in Rock.
Great band!! I'm sorry I didn't get to see them live back in the day, but I make up for it now by cranking up their live cd in my house all the time....what a fabulous cd!! These guys are true rockers, great musicians!!
Randy's China Rain "Bed of Nails" is a frequent flyer in my player also!
Thanks for the great music!! 🤘🎸🥁🎹🎤🙏
I grew up in the NY/NJ area and their live shows were legendary but I never saw them back in the day. They did really have it together musically; I appreciate them more now though to be honest.
@@mr.d.572....same here....I appreciate them now....better late than never, right? 🙂🎶🎵🎸🥁🤘🙏
Still, listen to them almost daily.
Growing up on the Island and seeing Zebra at the Mad Hatter in Stonybrook. Great memories. Great band.
Best of american rock... Extraordinary
I got to open for Randy Jackson twice and jumped on the drum kit for an acoustic version of Kashmir on Long Island! He a great guy and an amazing musician!
I was there long live the 80s in H town
Awsome band keep on 🎸 still listening 2021 🇺🇸 🎶
