I agree with Scar being in the last 5 since he's one of the Disney Villains that's really nasty.

+DisneyForever Well, what can we say? Sometimes family members are the most dangerous people out there, and it's actually pretty nervy of Disney to probe that dark family drama. (I don't count Cinderella as part of this since her fairytale is so much older than Disney).
Stephanie McCall That is true!! And it is pretty nervy of them!! I have to say I like when Disney can get dark and when it can get deep!!
+DisneyForever Exactly--I love it, too. That's why I disagree when somebody says Disney is "just for kids." IMHO, it helps introduce them to deeper conflicts and universals that are often found in the literature they'll read in school. This in turn helps them spot common archetypes, discuss character and conflict, and develop empathy for fictional and real people.

In my mind, Scar has to be number one, as far as evil is concerned. He's undoubtedly the most "grown up" villain of them all, so evil it's almost over the top. He kills his own brother on screen solely out of lust for power. If that wasn't enough, he convinces little Simba, HE'S the one who did the killing. (Which is even more despicable in a way). Just to set him in an entirely different league of evil, they created his signature song like a nazi propaganda video, adding a hint of Hitler to his character. I doubt Disney will ever spawn a villain THAT evil again. The fact that they created him in the first place, is surprising.

10. Prince John( he is very hillarous I love all characters in Robin Hood)
9. Bill Sykes( the creepiest villain in my opinion, underrated and charismatic)
8. Frollo( he is badass, charismatic and voiced by fabulous Tony Jay but I kinda dislike the movie he is coming from)
7. Ursula( she is charming)
6. Jafar( for disguising skills, intellect and fashionable sense)
5. Scar( sinister chessmaster that makes the TLK movie really exciting and dramatic)
4. Percival McLeach( almost as creepy as Sykes and he is also the author of funny quotes)
3. Facilier( I love his appearance, his very graceful and has a great musical number)
2. Hades( he is funny and based on one of my favorite Greek gods)
1. Governor Ratcliffe( comical and dangerous at the same time, I love his appearance and fashionable sense + TWO great musical numbers)

Hey I like your top!! I like the fact that you did a top 20, so we can see some other villains than that are mostly in the top 10, so great job about that!! I like the clips you used and I think I only would have included Sher-Khan or something (the tiger from Junglebook)!! I have to admit I was shocked with the number two and one, but I can understand why you ranked them like this, because they are both great villains. So great job here!! For the rest there are only things my personal opinion would change, but if I were to pick 20 villains, it will probably be these! Great list, I really enjoyed it!! And thanks for the mentioning haha ;)
Henri Osewoudt Thanks :) I did not even think about Sher-Khan lol probably because I haven't seen the Jungle Book in awhile!! I switched one and two alot but finally decided maleficent for one because I have always loved her lol! I just think there are so many villains that a top 20 was needed!! I'm glad you enjoyed it :) I'm going to guess your number 1 would be Scar? Just a guess :)
How did you knew that??? :00 haha yes, but as you already figured out, the lion king wins in almost every aspect from the other Disney movies to me (except for the songs besides Circle of Life). In that case, your tops actually are a bit more, let's say they have a more variety. The Lion King doesn't always win with you, even though it's your favourite. I just think The Lion King is from a whole other level than Tarzan, Aladdin and Frozen to me. So yeah, I think just the way Scar talks (awesome voice-actor), acts, his evil plans and everything about him is awesome to me.
Haha I haven't seen Jungle Book in a while as well, but I knew that I always found that tiger awesome. I think the one in your top that surprised me the most is Mother Gothel. She is a good villain indeed, but I almost forgot her haha.
Henri Osewoudt I agree with you that the Lion King is great on a different level! It will always be my favorite movie! I don't think any movie can change that! I had a tough time choosing between Scar and Maleficent but I always thought Maleficent was awesome! Scar is evil though! I mean he definitely did some awful things that make him an awesome villain! Him and Maleficent may be tied for me!
I knew I would forget a villain and I was right! Sher Kahn is evil and he is a great villain!
I love Tangled but when I was making this list I about forgot her too lol I don't know what it is but I forget about her a lot too!
I'm sure there is someone else I forgot but I mean i don't know if I could take anyone off I would probably just have to extend and move villains around lol!

I probably forgot Gothel because she is evil, but she is not evil in a cool way, if you know what I mean. She considers herself the new Marilyn Monroe or something and I don't take that very seriously haha.
Henri Osewoudt Yea I know what you mean! She wants to be young forever and she wants to look so beautiful and freaks out when she can't! I mean there are definitely more evil villains! You can tell from the beginning that she is just fake! I guess thats why I put her I think around Hans and Gaston because they are villains but they are really just more in love with themselves and just jerks when you think about it! Not really that villainous!!
