I wasn't aware of Chinesepod's YT channel! I know their audio podcast series, those episodes are interesting, very explanatory in the cultural aspects, but sometimes the English part seems tooo long to me.

我对主播太苛刻了吗？我无意贬低人家活着否定他。你看，我肯定了Matt的学习方法，即便我不了解。我只是觉得Matt的学习方法有所建树。这位主播已经不再做视频。可能有别的事情做了吧。我自己却从未放弃汉语学习。至今三十多年喽。但是，我从未全身投入。就算我专门学习的时段，比如北京留学的那个学年，我也没有。我在京学习时没有很努力学习。我更多的试图融入中国社会。我穿了中山装到处跑，与人沟通。那样比较轻松。我相信我那年班里我坚持的最长。那班里的人也可能有积极追求汉语精通。不排除其中有比我好的。我就是主管以为没有。我当年比他们更热情地学习。汉语发音也是班里最好。在马拉松跑里我可能不落伍了。我扯远了。我就想说，这位博主表现典型过度学习典范。结果，今天看不到他的新视频。有可能太累了，自己的期待和实际进展不相配而舍弃了。假若真尤其是，大家可以从中吸取教训。不要过度。慢慢来。关键是不放弃。

I recommend you to check either tencent or bilibili, they have a lot of animated series (donhuas) with subtitles :)
