I’d like the front brake reservoir tucked in and finished better. Rear shock adjustment tucked in better. Better hidden pre muffler box. Should come stock with radiator guard. I’d like more crome fittings but overall nice. I’m buying one.😊
I bought a 2023 Z900RS SE in the summer. They haven't changed it at all. The only differences I know are in North America, we received the lower seat with less padding, and we also got bulb turn signals. Maybe they were trying to save money. First, I removed the saddle and replaced it with a Corbin Gunfighter saddle. I haven't done anything with the turn signals, but I put on a radiator guard and satin black grab handles for using a centre stand which the dealer also put on. The rad guard and grab handles were from Amazon. People talk about a twitchy throttle when you back off, but I only notice it in first gear, so I upshift fairly quickly. Another difference is the UK and maybe other countries have a security feature on the ignition lock. We just have a plain lock here.
I got mine yesterday! Same color, same spec 2024. I'm looking forward to riding it when it gets warm. I live in the U.S., and I think I'm one of the first ones to get one.
No worries mate a fine review and convinced me to buy one. Can’t wait to put her through her paces and I’ll give report of my impressions. I might incorporate a few cosmetic tweaks but nothing right out of the gate.
I have the '22 model. I like it for a good street bike that is sensible and plenty fast enough, with great suspension and brakes. Personally I would have preferred the root beer colour but the SE - package tipped the scales for me - performance is more important than colour. You can also get heated grips from Kawasaki as an accessory - Nice to have here in Canada. Good luck with the bike , enjoy and keep the rubber side down.
Yes, a lot of money for a 100 horsepower bike, a work colleague of mine paid $35,000 for a 2023 KTM 1290 adventurer and then spent another $4,000 on extra's. The money is irrelevant.
@bradrook3919 Brad, every rider has a different $$$ threshold. For example, Harley's are big bucks in Australia $65,000 for a CVO Roadglide AND some riders pay it👍
The throttle goes away as you learn the throttle response. Also sloppy chain causes it to be worse. I put the Z900 single wall equal length header . I got same decibels but the 15 hp extra the plain Zee has. Major improvement. The double wall chrome pipes are TINY inside w no cross over pipes and short collector. The mini fender does spray the radiator w gravel and tarnished the chrome pipes too. A shield isn't a gimic. Bugs clog radiator fins too . Dummy.
Lovely bike, just been looking at them online. Might possibly sell one of my GSXR 1000’s and buy the RS SE. Either one of those or a GSX-S 1000, or maybe a KTM 1290 Super Duke R. KTM are giving 4 years warranty and have slashed £3000 off the price. I love all 3 bikes, so I need to test ride them to decide. I already know the KTM is going to be more fun when you’re in hooligan mode.
The KTM is a big discount, I own a Suzuki S-1000 and I think the Kawasaki z900rs se corners better and brakes better but Suzuki has the top end grunt. Tough decision's 🙄
Nice bike and hope u can tell us more about it with videos on the move and, for Heaven's sake, at the least. you could have let us hear the engine and the exhaust note. 🤣
Just got mine 2 weeks ago, buying it used with only 500kms on the clock. The previous owner had mounted a radiator guard, sliders, carbon copy mudguard and hugger, and I'm slowly getting rid of the Chinese tat that was put on by replacing the sliders with R &G as well as engine case covers and stainless bar ends. The bike is a beauty, the engine is gorgeous, and it handles beautifully. It now has 2000 kms on the clock
Beautiful bike and perfect color. I personally think the radiator guard is a gimmick. If that is something really necessary I am pretty sure they wud be on from factory. For the price it lacks heated grips, cruise control etc.
Best looking bike on the planet

Informative video! I would suggest you to show different angles of the bike, along with the exhaust note too. Great bike btw! Ride safe❤

Does your bike have a helmet lock as standard equipment?
@@cabralad Yes it does. Though D-rings on helmets seem to be a thing of the past, at least I can loop the strap through it.
Congrats on the bike!!
Where did you get your seat? I just got my bike two weeks ago. What color is yours?
@@jamesw9892 I bought it online directly from Corbin. It's a solo seat, black leather with yellow piping to match the bike's colors.
4:03 bike by Kawasaki, exhaust by Suzuki ??
Never heard of that before. And a digital tac and speedo would be sacrilege on a retro.
Unscripted videos 😅, the exhaust is Kawasaki. Kawasaki could learn a bit from triumph bikes, retro is hard to modernize.

Great news, pity about the weather.
Hope you don’t mind asking, what was total cost after walking out of the dealership & did you also get the Spacial Edition ?
Thank you
@@creed426 15k usd out the door, I had a recall on the front tire already. Had it changed last week.
@creed426 yes I got the SE.

Beautiful bike
@@garyadams2822 Only done 2,000km after 1 year of ownership, just looking at my bike everyday brings joy 🙂
I want one but can’t get a good trade in price on my Indian but I’ll wait
I experienced the same issue, couldn't sell my Suzuki so I now have 2 bikes.

It's a nice ride on the highway as well, I don't have the heated grips but I may get them fitted when winter arrives.
Absolut stunning machine. One day I buy mine
$21,000.00???
OMG...for a 900?
Did they at least put a quick shifter on it??
I think you got taken my friend

That’s definitely too much, I think!!
No that is AUD. That’s how much they are from Kawasaki dealers.
‘Suzuki did something with the exhaust’ ? Doesn’t it say Kawasaki on the tank ? 🤷♂️ 😅
Error, ignore the suzuki remark😄
Just bought one myself.. got about 700km on the clock.. how do you find the snatchy throttle?? in two minds about mine.. getting used to it though.
I love these bikes, I don't have any issues with the throttle, acceleration is smooth, no jerky throttle.

@berttompkins9096 I could never swap out the headers, I love the chrome look , but a 15hp improvement is massive 👌
nice video
Love the bike…but too many ums and ahs for me!
Such as?

love this bike!......WOW!
I’m buying one next year. Can’t wait🎉
Fantastic, that's if kawasaki still makes them.

@@brianrobson9408 They handle beautifully and great on the open road, good buy👍
That's a nice bike for sure. I'll be moving up to the z900rs soon. I'm in Adelaide too so I'll keep an eye out for this thing on the streets.
That's great news for you, I wish kawasaki made the SE with the z1000 motor and renamed the bike z1 rs. Happy riding👍
i want one
Get one, I feel good just looking at it.
My 50th anniversary fireball has all options and cover. 2200 miles. For sale $10.5 k us dollars.
Its to nice to ride!!! Must sell

I bought the radiator guard because the radiator fins are easily damaged when trying to remove stubborn dirt.
Absolutely beautiful! Just bought a new Triumph yesterday, decided to buy this today!
So now you have 2 new bikes, lucky man👍
is there a "cat" on the pipes?
Yes, it is noticeable from the left side of bike.
Can this bike have the fairing?
No, Kawasaki discontinued the 'cafe model' years ago.
@@cabralad Yes it sucks for you in the UK. I really wonder why they did. Still for sale in the US.
