This is the first interview in our Art of Guitar: Be Gig Ready guitarist / artist development class. John has played in many bands over the years, and has a knack for quick songwriting of catchy hooks, connecting very very well with the audience, and a penchant for getting stuff done and pushing through in a band. This says a lot about his interpersonal skills! We took a moment to chat about these things, inspirations, what he does when he feels writer's block, and how to overcome some challenges in your guitar life.
