I find it so interesting/cool that younger generations get nostalgic about youtubers. TH-cam still feels like a relatively new thing to me. Its pretty awesome that you were able to grow up in a world where you could connect with your role models on a platform like this. See them on livestreams and even chat with them in the comments. I wish I had that growing up, especially on mobile I get nostalgic about flashplayer sites like newgrounds and ebaumsworld. And when i say nostalgia, I mean PTSD and trauma lol

Seeing the subscriber ranking now compared to 2015 is really depressing. Back then, the ranking was full of people you would probably walk passed on the street without notice, and now, the ranking is dominated by big Hollywood studios and world famous pop stars. It really paints a picture of how corporate TH-cam has gone, making even harder to succeed as a small creator.

Seeing the subscriber ranking now compared to 2015 is really depressing. Back then, the ranking was full of people you would probably walk passed on the street without notice, and now, the ranking is dominated by big Hollywood studios and world famous pop stars. It really paints a picture of how corporate TH-cam has gone, making even harder to succeed as a small creator.
That's why I think all small creators should work together.
In fact this starts in 2018 , and almost all the smalls creators dissapear from the top 50 ; pewdiepie and mrbeast are no longer small creators , only juega german and rubuis are
