DIY 30V-70V TO 12V HIGH CURRENT BUCK CONVERTER WITH UC3845

Hello guys KD here. Today i have made a powerful buck converter with UC3845 ic. The input voltage of this circuit is from 30V to 70V and the output voltage is 12V and upto 20A of current. The efficiency is about 87% at almost full load. The efficiency can be increased by using black or blue colour inductor. I have used IRFP250 mosfet which can easily handle this amount of power. For better results, use low ESR capacitor at the output. The power of this buck converter is 240W which can be easily increased. I will soon make a another BUCK with more better results.
