After this story, it actually makes sense why spectro rover's ultimate stops time. Honestly thought its just a design choice.

Jinhsi's EN VA did absolutely phenomenal in the last parts of the 1.1 story. A stark contrast to the voice direction prior. Please maintain this level of quality Kuro.
What really impressive is that she is good on maintaining her American accent. I hardly know that she is British.
I agree but they should of added some hall/echo effects in her scream...it sounded kind of flat like in a recording sound booth.

Not to take credit away, but everyone should play this scene in CN VA, especially Jinhsi's final scream where the CN VA's voice cracked, breaks all hearts immediately, you can feel the immersion of the actress in the character's lore.

Jin means "now" and Hsi means "past" so the name Jinhsi means "then and now"

1:05 3:52 After learning who Rover actually is to Jue, this scene takes on a deeper meaning. It seems like a depiction of how Rover was in the past, standing in front with Jue and possibly other sentinels behind them.
Imagine a scene in the final battle and we have all the Sentinel behind Rover preparing to fight whatever entity is capable of going against them, that would be insane.

Jué is on par with Grigori from Dragon's Dogma imo, they're my favorite dragons in fiction but I couldn't say one is better than the other because of the different aesthetics.

Jinshi’s story of being a deceased baby brought to life by Jue but was destined to fight her was such a heartbreaking but encapsulating story 😭 Jinshi is such a brave and selfless character, I love her more so much. Amazing story quest, Kuro! I loved every minute of it ❤️

i loved rover being strong and relevant is canon to the story, now we know at least few reason why rover liberation hit like a truck
Yeah I feel like all the gachas like to *tell* you the MC is cool/strong/relevant but Rover is actually consistently shown to be solid in a way they usually aren't
I was in tears when OST started kicking in and when Jué started talking to Jinhsi. This is hands-down the best cinematic quest I have ever experienced. This is what I felt after completing a warframe story quest called "Second Dream". It was that good. 💙

I really liked the end of this quest. It was so dynamic, with many cinematics acompanied with a great soundtrack. It was peak
If this trend continues, I have no doubt Wuwa will no doubt up the competition when it comes to visual story telling. You guys did an AMAZING job. I haven't been so engrossed in a gacha in a long time.
Out of the whole of this act, this part was so breathtaking. This girl died upon birth, but save and taken in by this divine beast. Burden with untold and grueling responsibility from infancy. But upon reaching maturity, finally embraces it and faces the uncertainty despite her mountainous doubts. Now, she ascends to new heights, inheriting the mantle. Does this mean she is of the divine as well?

Yep, All power from Jue has been given to Jinhsi, her power now as same as sentinel and can summon Jue at her will. That's why in her liberation or when Jue attack with breath, there are time stopping effect.

Not Ruler but Overseer - Arbiter's task is to oversee the evolution of solaris-3, evolution of humanity to became resonators that's why tacet discord exist but too many casualties wavered the determination of rover so that's why it decided to divide it's power to help the people in solaris-3 fight against the TD, rover will manifest if humanity is on the verge of extinction.... remember it's for the evolution of humanity not extinction.
1:50 to 2:09 Those screams gave me chills, the VA did a phenomenal job.
I was lock in on the screen for the whole conversation and cutscene of this. Chills everytime, Jue and Jihnsi is soo majestic
One of the best cinematics I've ever seen in a video game. And, I really like how Jinhsi's cries remind the viewer of a newborn for her 2nd awakening/2nd birth. That weak smile as she succeeded in the cinematic was the most precious thing ever

Now that's a memorable OST, the 1.0 had a lack of it but i love that this one plays on Mt Firmament, keep doing this awesome work please! And PLEASE keep giving Rover more lines, it makes the scenes more interesting when they have voice

The humming is beautiful enough that I think having more vocals would just ruin the moment. Would be nice as a standalone OST but not together with the cutscene.

Honestly, this story quest was really good
The 1.1 update was a HUGE step foward for Kuro Games. The EN voice acting was so much better, and the story was also improved. For me, the main improvement is the main character's weight on the story. In hoyoverse games, it is rare to see the main character interract vocally with others, this happened here for the entirety of the story. Huge props to Kuro Games for keeping the spirit of main character.
The new characters were immensely nice, the npc-s model worked fine, and the new enemy models are top notch as well.
The difficulty keep spiking up, wich should be the norm, and the exploration factor still has the grasp on the player, to urge them to keep playing.
Huge ups for Kuro games, however I would like to share an insight.
Spoiler alert:
When I first met Jinshi in the story, in the version 1.1, a "hoyoverse" moment happened.
She was supposed to be bleeding, according to Changli, hurt and tired. She was on the Mt. for a while and is currently were fighting 3 Glacio Dreadmanes, at the same time, who she managed to one-shot with ease. (Keep in mind that Glacio Dreadmanes are no joke in the game, they hit hard and have a lot of health.)
This happened when she was "supposed" to be hurt and tired. This feeling were thrown out of the window right there.
Her character model/skin was clean like snow. Nothing happened that would make the player worry for her, she didn't pant, she didn't look exhausted, she wasn't hurt.
I don't want to see her in blood, nor yelping out, no. I'm not saying that. I am saying that some little details should be added at times like theese. Dirt, dust!
This is what I would call a "hoyoverse" moment, where most of theese moments happen in the talk. Show, don't tell. You don't need to treasure girlies so much on screen, we are not snowflakes. The worry factor were thrown out of the window.
Remember 1.0? When the guy at the cannon died on screen infront of the main character? He was full of dirt and blood, and he told us that he bought enough time for the cannon, wich made the scene emotional. Being a random character instead a playeable one, this definetly was a HUGE step foward in gacha games history, in my opinion.
I am saying again, I didn't want to see Jinshi in blood. A little spec of dust on her cheeks, more of thoose "scales" should have been on her body, make her pant a little more, let the audience worry for her. (She is also pretty heavy waifu material, so showing her more vulnereable would fuel more emotion for the scene, in my opinion.)
Sorry for the wall of text, and well theese are just MY OPINION. It is totally possible that I am overreacting, I just see some hints that happened mostly in Genshin/hsr and it would ruin the immersion in my opinion. Mostly at least.
Overall the 1.1 update was a HUGE step foward, and I think It is one of the best updates, any gacha games had over the years.

The already insane visuals in this game have been improved by a lot in 1.1. I took so many screenshots. And the music is sooooo good. Its a night and day difference to the music of 1.0 and exactly what I was hoping for. It's sad but also really beautiful. I'm also very happy that they improved the English dub in terms of direction and audio mixing. Bravo, Kuro Games! Absolutely magical.
