I had a robo hamster and omg. I made sure to make my research and it's a lot of work for the "goldfish hamster." I bought my hamster on sale for $10 and spent over $200 to get what he needed. He lived a long happy life but man was he expensive to keep him comfortable and happy. I miss him so much everyday. Missed that he would nip at me if I didn't give him a pumpkin seed when I got him treats. 😅
I agree with recommending only cats and dogs as pets. They've been domesticated the longest, are much more social with humans, easy to train, are big enough to cuddle with and to be able to escape or defend themselves against children, we know the most about them and you can easily find a vet who knows how to treat them. Any other animal is considered exotic, there's little/wrong info, hard to find them appropriate enclosures, food, toys, vet care, they poop/pee/chew everything.

My one experience with Chinchillas was like this. They would chill on my palm for a couple of seconds then proceed to climb all over me.

Mice are trainable and smart so they are big fast smart.
If you mean then holding the sign.. some chinchillas just like to grab hold off things like that. Mya didn't train them that.
