It's coming for us all. Our lifestyle - the way we treat our bodies and the planet (even unborn babies have partical pollution in their organs and the latest new showing males have it microplastics in their reproductive organs). We no longer live in a way that is sustainable with long life. Cancer was affecting 1 in 3 of us a decade ago, now it's already 1 in 2. At least Lizzy had fun and touched hearts during her life...she lived it.

Sorry for your loss. 1990-1999 seems to be a tough generation for us as a society, we lose an unusual amount of them, sadly. I’m sure there’s a few different reasons for that, addiction, mental health, depression/anxiety, the first generation of teens on social media. God have mercy on the 2010’s, seems to be the next generation that’s going to experience a lot of very nuanced problems.

This Earth we live on is a class room NOT a court room. We are hear to learn and be taught NOT to be judged and be sentenced. Maybe she left early because she learned everything her soul needed to move on to whatever is next for our souls. I'm not religious and I'm not saying there is no God. I'm saying there MUST BE a Creator of all things and that there MUST BE further places for our souls to ascend to when each of us has learned what we need to move on to the next life cycle. Everything in this Universe is cyclical. Just know, If Lizzy was close to you or not that she is in a better place now and her soul has moved forward. Be happy for her and stay positive and remember this post. Long Live Lizzy! ❤❣❤

This comment section is for Lizzy and I respect that %100. She is honestly amazing and I wish I had more people like her in my life.
I might lose some of you but I'm willing to, in order to open the minds of more people.
Just to further elaborate on my initial comment... Please read this with a TRULY opened mind. Walls down. I'm not saying that I think all people that pass go to a better place, BUT I don't buy the idea that they go to a worse place. That does not make sense and does absolutely nothing for anyone. This idea was instilled in us by early men and still is being instilled in some of us via religion to keep us obedient to the extremely rich. This stuff is being exposed more and more every year that passes and people are catching on. Separate the people and they have more control. These people are here and they are doing this. Good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people.
Lizzy was an AMAZING human being and I truly feel she moved on to what's next. A better place %100. As for the horrible people out there that pass...maybe their soul was cast into a fetus/body that had mental disabilities or who had a horrible upbringing and was taught the wrong things. Remember... We are hear to learn and be taught NOT to be judged and be sentenced. That's part of the learning and you have to remember the people/souls that are affected by and around these horrible people are learning a lot. We are learning what not to do and what not to be like and they are learning from those of us who treat others well. They are just young souls. Maybe some souls need to re-live through another life cycle on this Earth. I'm not sure what to call this but it just makes the most sense to me. Here on Earth and in this Universe, there is Good and evil, Hot and cold, Negative and positive, Just like a battery or a magnet. Without the cold the hot could not exist. Without the negative the positive would not exist here in this Universe. This balance is needed for everything and everyone on this Earth/Universe we are currently in and on to exist. There MUST BE a balance. Without the evil, we wouldn't learn even a small fraction of what we do WITH the evil present. Keep an open mind and think for yourself.
Don't allow the next person to tell you how to live. Just be the best person you can be and treat those around you and strangers as well with compassion and grace. Remember...This Earth we live on is a class room NOT a court room. We are hear to learn and be taught NOT to be judged and be sentenced.

@@antonfidd3795 I understand the point your making about our souls and religion early men etc, but the Bible is also getting more and more proven every year, all you need to do is to study the history of Israel and you will think again. I 100% believe ... Christ Jesus.

However I watched long enough to see lizzy plenty of times and she always seemed to be one of the most kind and sincere people on the show. Despite the egos often associated with the sport lizzy was always so easy going with other people and I remember virtually every race win or lose was finished off with a big hug with her competitor.

Bought a built SB chevy motor from Musi in early 2000's. Never followed her or knew about her career, but somehow this came up in my feed. Sounds like you touched many with your charm, beauty and racing prowess. Condolences to family. RIP Lizzy!

Rip Lizzy, you were a very humble and thoughtful person. The true testament to your altruistic character was your ability to always smile and connect with your fellow competitors, no matter the outcome of your drag race you always exited the car and congratulated the other driver with class, you made the world a better place with your positive spirit!

I lost my friend Dr. Diana Chadwell who was head of athletics at UCSD in the 90's due to breast cancer. Her legacy lives on, as shall the legacy of Lizzy Musi. These amazing souls who impact the lives of so many others, are a blessing to many. People do not forget these kinds, ever.... Nobody forgets a brave heart.

@@Billeh556 Yes. She did. Stage 4 breast cancer, fought it twice. When her blonde hair fell out, and she wore a wig-cap, she still got on her board and windsurfed with us from Rio Vista to La Paz in Baja, she never complained about her condition, but inspired others. Special people like Diane and Lizzy, become more remarkable as we learn from them that life is precious.
