Ok guys I need some advice..... I'm looking to maybe start playing this game, and I've been a lifelong Pokemon fan, EXCEPT for anything tcg related..... Where would you guys recommend going online to learn how to play, build decks, experiment with stuff like that??
@@JRR31 While this game is similar to the paper tcg, it's not a carbon copy My best advice right now is to find content creators you like and watch them until the game releases. More and more guides are being posted every day. The game doesn't fully launch til October 30th, and we're not even sure what the fully released version is going to look like. So take your time, absorb videos, find content creators you like, and I think you'll find many tips and decks that will help you get started when you finally play the game
If you get on the game it does have a lot of good knowledge for new players built in. Yt and stuff like that is a good source for once you're ready to go beyond basics.
Honestly the game itself has a pretty good tutorial I didn’t know anything going in either and I think I have a pretty good grasp now. Imo way easier to learn stuff hands on.
There are 2 DIFFRENT TCG: The regular pokemon TCG, you can play it on "TCG pokemon live". And Pokemon TCG pocket (this one) The game hasn't been released yet (except if you're in NZ, or if you have a VPN), and is more focused about the collection than the competitive content.
The game is simple in terms of rules, most decks shares 40% of the same cards, and the rest is brainpower. Watching streamers is a good way to grasp the game quickly. After that it’s a matter of what card you pull😂 new strats and “meta” comes out every day, and it will change with every future expansion. Just download it and enjoy
How do you create those deck lists like at 1:46 ? I have seen some other creators use it and i couldnt find out what site or application there are using.
Exeggutor Butterfree has been alot of fun to play with lots of healing with Erica and the Buterfree and then just stomp damage with exeggutor ex. I love the grass type decks
Is it just me or is the pokeball card bugged? Everytime I play it I never get a card even though I have 5+ pokemon still in my deck. Has happened 3 times now and I just straight up lose from it everytime.

I always loved fire decks in the regular tcg but I'm definitely digging water so far in pocket.

My favorite type is ghost, so it's probably split between dark and psychic
Ghosts are all in Psychic. Dark has the Dark, and the Poison types. Psychic has the Psychic, Ghost, and Fairy types.
im addicted to dragonite. i wanna run it with greninja and maybe keeping pidgeot in there for all the flexibility of bench kos/multikills
Water types have always been my favorite. Have you figured out a good deck with Blastoise EX???
Fav type has gotta be dark, bc it's cool 😎
Having a magneton in there powering up his energies with the volt ability could potentially help with the lt. surge card to transfer to Raichu.
This is my favorite deck, BUT, I build it a bit differently. 🤠
I love playing Dragon ❤
Favorite type has to be either grassy lads or psychic gals
might be a hottake but i kinda wish it was 4 points to win or even 5 i feel 3 is too little
lt surge such a gimmick :D
yeah my Pika deck doesn't include surge, or raichu
Speaking of pichu…I love how the baby evolutions are completely forgotten.

@@turk4082 they need to be basic Pokemon, if they are evolutions, the card won't get anything
