One thing that helped me alot with df2 and qcf 1 is to hold your quarcter circle input until the other chara ter is at the top of their arc about to come down
Don't be phased by it. Combo artists tend to be out of touch with what is optimal combos. (They tend not to have long format footage or tournament videos to begin with, so it goes without saying that they don't have footage of them doing such in a high-stakes setting) You'll see that your combo routes are similar to tournament players(if you can find an actual Paul player😂) which is more than fine. If you feel like you can(not should) do more then these videos are extremely helpful

That's because from the 3rd qcf1 onwards it becomes a 1-frame link (frame perfect); launcher excluded (even if you launch with qcf1). So just two qcf1s in a row is significantly easier than any more. Launcher into qcf1 is very easy, though, once you get used to it a bit. And launcher > qcf1 > qcf1 is doable to learn to do consistently, but requires a lot more practice.

The one you said is consistent is not consistent at all for WS+2, 2, 4, DF+4, 3,2, etc. The 3,2 doesn't always connect. Testing it on victor. Just doesn't connect.
Alot of his combos are not consistent unfortunately. I'll be doing the exact same thing over and over again and sometimes it lands and sometimes it doesn't. Wonder if this is a bug. Just tested this again but on law.

Just getting your damage out and not leaving a ton of food IS optimal, if you have that I wouldn't feel too bad
My tip is just do the combos you know you can do consistently.A lot of beginner combos only have a 5-10 damage difference

the triple forward is gonna be a hard input
Paul's demo-man range should be buffed. You can only do this now while the opponent's character is in almost kissing range.
even then you still wont get a clean hit

if you can't do it then don't do it. simply do f,f,f2 without dash 1.
How to do 3,2 back sway into df 2,1?? All I can to after back sway is 1+2
try doing 3,2,backsway then hold df and see what happens
