    I’ve been wondering how this set up was going to look. Thank you for posting this video. 😊

    These cabins are lovely, but really not sure what I think about the odd angle - let's hope your cabin mate isn't a snorer, or that'll be right in your ear, haha!

      Could you just both sleep the other way and instead your feet will be close not your heads?

    Thank you, fabulous video! We went on our first Virgin cruise 2 weeks ago. Whew, that bathroom is tight but the sea terrace was nice. I'm going to check out your video on the XL and maybe for the next one that will be an option. Also, getting used to the layout of the ship was rough (so used to the Oasis, Quantum and Freedom Class ships) but no kids is grand!!!

      I was the same way my first few times on there! The lack of signage certainly didn't help! Glad you had a good experience and are looking to go back!

    I’m so happy that you and your mom can cruise together!
    Bed question: Why do your heads have to be together? Could it be feet together or a head and feet together? Maybe I’m missing why your heads have to be together?

    • @TheWeekendCruiser
      @TheWeekendCruiser  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I guess they didn't... but if we did feet, that means someone is sticking out in the middle of the room and headboard. I would constantly be picking my pillow up off the floor.

    • @mitchellbarnow1709
      @mitchellbarnow1709 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheWeekendCruiserI didn’t think about the headboard and the pillows. We’ve got to invent “The Pillow Keeper” by Ronco! We will make a fortune!

    great video thanks. Can you actually have the beds parallel if you want? I am restless at niteso my wife wants a separate bed but is happy if they are one inch apart but parallel

    • @TheWeekendCruiser
      @TheWeekendCruiser  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question and I am not sure of the answer. I am leaning towards no because the bed also turns into a couch which provides the frame for the beds. At least that is my thoughts...

    Hey thank you so much for this video. Did you request for this set up using the tablet once you boarded or are you able to have it set up before boarding? Trying to figure that out for my cruise in two weeks.

    • @TheWeekendCruiser
      @TheWeekendCruiser  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had it done once we were onboard. The app does have a section for room items but believe it is only active once you have ship wifi. It's a quick change for the stateroom attendants.

    Please do video on how these room listed to fit 4 people in a room. How can they fit 4 beds in that tiny room

    • @TheWeekendCruiser
      @TheWeekendCruiser  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ummm, I don't have a good answer to that! I wouldn't think you could? It would have to be arranged different and have a separate bed. Never thought about it!

  • @ivynya29

    Hello!!! Thanks for the video. I’d the bed able to turn into a king?

    • @TheWeekendCruiser
      @TheWeekendCruiser  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it will come as a king by default. Since I was cruising with Mom, we opted to separate them in two twins :-)

      I am coming in at 6 ft tall. I have had no issues fitting on the bed but have heard others mention it is very low.

    Have you ever been in an interior room on there if so is it kinda the same? Cooler temps, bathrooms etc?

    • @TheWeekendCruiser
      @TheWeekendCruiser  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not yet! Though, every timeI look, balcony and interior are not that far off in price these days. Had my eye on a solo room this weekend and never pulled the trigger.

    • @cakins135
      @cakins135 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheWeekendCruiser I feel like the temperature is cooler and the darkness of an interior is my favorite part

    • @TheWeekendCruiser
      @TheWeekendCruiser  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cakins135Interiors are definitly darker! I find it tough to know what time of day it is with no light at all coming in. The temperature thing I have never figured out on ships. Somehow, I think all rooms have an individual handler to regulate it. Rooms on same hallway, same category, can vary greatly for me.

      I also might be a little self conscious on how I am trying to add catchier titles as it isn't in my nature 🙃

    • @TheWeekendCruiser
      @TheWeekendCruiser  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We thought about this but then one of our heads would be in the aisle and not against the headboard... just seemed odd for a person to be sticking out like that.
