I definitely don't book specialty dining on the first night. Too many things going on that I don't want to miss. Once I get on the ship, I sit on the sofa and immediately book all of my events. I will just watch the other cruisers run for the elevators bc they're so excited. I set my phone to remind me 45 days to secure my dining choices. I will be on the transatlantic cruise next month and I have booked all my restaurants 2 and 3 times. ( except the test kitchen) I'll pass.😊
I did my first virgin cruise a couple of months back, what i love mostly is that if you want to party, you can party. But if you want to relax, you can relax. Next cruise i definitely want to rent out one of those private cabana's to see if it is worth it.
Listen, that first day was crazy lol. My roomie and i got dresssed for the pj party. Went to galley. Came back to room and knocked out. The sail away party was amazing. I'll do the solo meet up on my next trip in july 😊

Our first cruise with Virgin was last year to the Mediterranean. Best cruise ever. We purchased the next cruise packages for next year. All your tips were in point. We booked everything in advance, ate at every restaurant and highly recommmend the test kitchen. Excellent experience.

I cruised for the first time in March of 24 and I was able to book my dining on the app ahead of my cruise. I plan to do the same for my sailing in May. I had so much fun. I plan to do some different things with Virgin this next go around. Good points!

Hey! I’d recommend an early dinner if you want to actually enjoy a restaurant. 5:30-6:30 start at the latest. As for pajama night, you can wear them to dinner but you really don’t have to since the party starts around 11pm

This will be my 4th Cruise I’ve been on Carnival, the 2nd largest Disney Cruise Ship and Royal Caribbean and Disney was The BEST ALL THE WAY AROUND. The Cabin was the largest the veranda was bigger the any other Ships. Kids was on it but of course I wasn’t tripping over Kids. The Shows was like going to a broadway Shows. That was a plus. Then I like Carnival.I had a Jr Suite. That was my 1st Cruise and I enjoyed that Cruise and then the Royals Caribbean (the Ship I was on was Old and the Sit down food wasn’t good . But the Buffet food was good. They’re service was great tho. But Disney is the Best from the time I got on the Ship until I got off. So I hope this Cruise will be better than Royal Caribbean.
#5. I think it's best to do all you want to do, btw the 2nd day and next to the last day of the cruise, so you can chill and enjoy the last 24 hours of the cruise. Also, though it's a bummer, don't wait to on your last day! Your last 24 hours should be taking it all in 😊 before disembarking 😢!

You forgot the “Test Kitchen” lol! All I have to say is, it’s a no for me on the bungee workout lol! Okay to be fair just don’t do it especially if you did lotteria (Spanish adult version of Bingo) before because it comes with several margaritas and plenty of tequila shots 😁… in addition it could’ve been our instructor but it was not a bounce and let’s fly and have fun it was a boot camp!

Hi! No, reservations aren’t required for breakfast or lunch if eating in the Galley. The spa can only be booked once onboard. As far as shore things, it depends on where you’re going which ones I’d recommend.
Sounds like theres not much room/time to be relaxed or spontaneous with activites. Everythg seems to need to be booked ahead...lots of steucture. That part is stressful

How do you keep your hair up during your cruise when it gets wet?
I have glueless closure sew in so it doesn’t need much maintenance but once I get out the water, I co-wash it with conditioner.

Do you guys book your “shore things” with VV or you use Expedia, viator, and others to book your excursions?
It depends on what I’m looking to do. Virgin offers great shore things for most ports but sometimes I do Viator when I’m looking for certain tours.
