I came home from a forestry contract up on the Alaska highway, minus 50 most days, nine hours drive north of home...made it home every 2 weeks and at the end of it all, I walked in the door and my wife was lying on the couch. I Grew up listening to this kind of songs at home here in Philippines . Grandma and Mom loves Ms. Dolly Parton. The songs of my generation is really not good and I'm glad I always have the opportunity to keep coming back on here listening to old songs. They are always good for the heart and souls.

This version is beautiful, but Randy Vanwarmer owns this song. He wrote it at the age of 18, and totally poured his heart and soul into this song. Sadly he died at the age of 48 of leukemia in 2004. He also wrote many other songs, and was a gifted songwriter who never got the recognition he deserved.
