Thank you for this vid. I rode my bike around the lake twice a day as a student at Ballarat High School. 1969 was my last year. Really enjoyed watching to see how much has changed and suprisingly how much still looks the same along Wendouree Parade. The buildings and cannons are unchanged. The walking track and road deviation towards Carlton Street where the tram turns towards the shed is new. The drivers uniform remains the same, the sound of the bell and the sound of the tram brings back memories of my youth. Thank you again.
Thanks for sharing with us and it's amazing ride the old tram historical museum in Ballarat! One day we will visit there to catch tram to ride love it. 😉👌🚎
We moved to Ballarat from Yarraville in 1970 and I remember riding up Sturt st in one a few times. The conductor let me stand in the back part of the tram, look out the window and wave to people in their cars.
Love the old bell warning of the trams, nice journey this one and love that old Pink 1972 Chrysler Valiant Pacer at 2:13, Nostalgia all round. The driver is much his own man at 12:25 too. Thanks Drive667 for another excellent video.
It would be better if it went across to Sturt st, at Loreto, down the center of Sturt west and into town where the new footpaths that no one uses down the middle. Then through Bridge mall, along Main road and up to Sovereign Hill
Already done the Bendigo tram Charlie. It's in the tramway playlist. Here is the link to it, th-cam.com/video/na20qIw5NNQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=eL0PZbjIXVvio5JU 👍😀
I feel sorry for the train driver, all those cars parked and people just wandering about, I'd be scared to death someone would wander in front of the train. People don't pay enough attention to their surroundings.
Wow awesome I like so much your video and tram in Ballarat 🎉 very nice
Very happy to hear you enjoyed the ride 👍 😊

Very happy to hear you enjoyed the video 👍 😀
Awesome ride on new rail compared to what was there originally. And a bigger increase in speed
In is a huge step forward 👍😊
Now I don’t usually film trams that often because I usually film V/Line Trains, Metro Trains, Steam Trains and Freight Trains
👍😀
Good morning Putty Cat, I made it thru the storm Ok and I am fine, it some what missed my area of the State thats fine with me.
That's good news. Some of the scenes we have seen on tv show a lot of devastation. Good you are ok 👍 😊🐈
❤😊👍
Ballarateven after all these years isn't the same without the tram network
It would be nice to see a tram network of sorts relaid around some of the main areas around town. 👍😊

Yes, he has to be a mind reader of all those people. He does a good job 👍😊
I wonder how long it'll be before you head to South Australia and get cab-rides off of all of the heritage railways here!
Hmmmm... it is on my list. Just need to get some time away from working to visit 👍😀
Did they let you have a drive?
Rode in the cab but I was happy to watch and chat. 👍😊
