- What would happen if I gave $10 to my crew, and had them turn it into as much as possible in only 3 months using eBay? Would they be able to use the principles I built my business on, or will it be much harder?

I know someone who suffered mental illness, and he went by skyguy tall.
He passed away 17 months ago.
As some who is on disability, this series helped reignite my love for flipping. I started going to garage sales and reached $1300+ in sales on ebay in under a month from watching this channel. I also did around $1500 in gross sales to a local retro store that pays 60-65% cash value.

Then why not do it yourself? Only takes $10 and 10 hours a week.... Why do you need to watch someone else do it when you can easily follow these same steps? Not a do-er? Just a consumer? hmm.

I have tons of video games and they sold fast initially but sales have fell off a cliff. I used to sell like 15+ items a month. Now I sel one item every... 2 months? I'm not listing junk and I have great reviews and fair prices. I don't know what happened.
@@redfin382are you selling on market place or online? because if you are selling that slow then i can guarantee you are selling junk or you are over pricing your stuff. As far as if you are selling locally. well most people want to resell items so if you are trying to fetch online prices locally you are bound to be sitting on your stuff for a very long time.

@@redfin382 When did you start? If it was near pandemic/right after most collector stuff took a huge nose dive, especially things like video games. If it's not brand spanking new or super old/nostalgia bait it's pretty hard to get anything decent for used video games.
A good tip for anyone reading: if you want free boxes, go to your local supermarket. They get rid of TONS of carboard boxes of many dimensions everyday.
If you have a good relationship they'll let you pick and chose.
Liquor stores are great for durable cardboard, and ALDIs usually have a bunch in the store.

This series was a lot of fun, but I would love to see it going again from the start instead of continued. I think the biggest and most important part of this journey was an expected ROI from the first week of over 6000% and direct profit of 1800% within the first week, which is ludicrous and something you never even came remotely close to in the following weeks. The hardest part about doing stuff like this is getting started, and this is not replicable reliably. It was entertaining, but not realistic.
Agreed. but the solution to this in reality is investing 1000 in your business from the start and not trying to do it for $10, which is just internet hyperbole to get clicks. It's obviously way easier to work a few dozen hours overtime at your real job or at a part time job than to try to turn $10 into $1000 by flipping garage sale finds, unless you get lucky and find impossible stuff the first week.
This series was really fun to watch and really helped me out with my eBay business! Thank you so much for doing this and also putting it together so well. Great job by everyone involved!

Chase and the catrp crew are the best! Love the series and concept. My wife and I started 1.5 years ago and will likely do 80k in gross sales this year and are part time. So yes for sure possible.

20:40 I bought that same military pack for $14 a couple of weeks ago and I sold it in 3 days for $149 + $29 shipping.

Those remotes got me hooked on reselling about 13 years ago my wife and I bought 13 of them brand new for $6 total we listed them same day and sold them in under a hour to 1 person for $1550

this is what i needed to see, trying to do ebay but no sales since july. after watching this channel i decided to dip my hand in games etc. during this challange did you guys run into alot of scammers, i jumped the gun on a few offers only to find out they were scamers. would love to see more of this. i also made my photo box out of a banna box

I gave myself a similiar challenge two years ago. I was dropping off at UPS and found $5 in the parking lot. I told my 80 year old roommate that I was going to see what I could turn this $5 into. On way home stopped at a yard sale and found a $5 item that I ended up flipping in 2 weeks for $25. Kept going to yard sales each week and reinvesting my sales into new merchandise. Within a month after firsr sale I had sold over $2000 and profiting over $1700. My business has basiclly ran off that $5 since then for the last 2 years. It is possible but the challenge I am seeing for them is starting with a brand new ebay store and the challenges that come with new seller restrictions. I dealt with those a few years ago when starting my full time business of ebay. I stated my business with a small box of remotes and now have almost 1600 items listed in my ebay store and did it without investing any money into business besides profit. And I did all this after having a stroke and having to change my entire life path. Have been fortunate to have the support of family and friends to help with living expences while I built my business, God bless them all. Now on to the video to see how they did it. Good luck.

Watching these videos has made me want to go back and look through all my old games and get a small ebay business going as a side hustle. I do have an Original NES system, that works in the box which is also in relatively good shape. But i dont foresee myself selling that to start the business just yet

Awesome video. I just started flipping. I just sold a silver dollar for 30 bucks that I've had since I was a kid, and sold a game table that we got as a Christmas present for $100. Used $25 of that for supplies, and $75 at the thrift store. About to make, $2k off of everything. I still have hundreds of old dvd and blu rays I don't watch to go through and some video game stuff.

@@PandaWaffleHD tbh I listened to the suggestions, started with stuff laying around the house then moved onto friends and family. Been to thrift stores and garage sales but not having a ton of luck there..yet.
I’m worry about sustainability in my area but I’m just going to focus on staying consistent before getting too worried.

I don’t know if the area is considered “small” - but the pricing I’ve found so far at garage sales, thrift stores, FB marketplace and Craigslist have made it a challenge to find worthwhile items to pickup for good margins.
I’m spending time expanding my knowledge so I’m equipped to find other things outside of toys and video games to make profit on.
I’m sure it will be fine but it will be a grind! So far it’s been a blast.

A lady I knew some years ago, maybe 20 years, she went to garage sales and bought expensive baby cloths. Pumkin Patch etc. She would go in the morning, make an offer well below asking price, if she got it great. If not she would ask what time they went till. Come back in the afternoon and get a real bargain most times. At the time wages were around $600 a week. She was clearing around 2K a week. It can be done. Good on you men. A lot cry about how tough life is. You start a business with $10, and set the world on fire. Plus the TH-cam chanell. Got to love you for that

I've found some crazy golden gooses at garage sales but seeing a sealed Logitech Harmony 650 for just $1 is insane. Congrats on selling it at full price. One of the best deals I made was getting a working $300 kitchen aid mixer that they thought was broken for only $20. I also once bought a sealed DVD box set for $4 from the same neighborhood and returned it to wal mart an hour later for $36 in cash.
Gotten a lot out of this series, please continue it. Even if the goal changes, the watch of the whole process is invaluble.
I think they should do this again but not post anything about it until after the challenge was finished so we can see what there sales are when the audience doesn’t know there account ( I’m assuming not saying the audience knew the account name ) while also not having eBay sponsoring it. This would allow the average seller to see what they would be able to expect.
