    For the english programme in Medicine, do you need Hungarian for the clinical settings? Since you may have contact with Hungarian Patients that have no knowledge of any other language. Is this a huge problem? I do not wanna learn Hungarian😢

    Hi Cam, thank you for sharing your experience, I can understand you as we have almosr the same system in Russia. You went through a lot and this really is a precious experience I hope it gets easier for you in coming years!
    I felt the same with the need of not only studying, but living the life afterall. 6 years is a big amount of time, man should not exchange these 6 years for only a diploma, man should also develop as person through these years.
    Time management, friends, walking in the city, trips to different places, simply hobbies, all those things help to live life with an interest and still having success in studies
    Also i felt the same with guilt for not studying, however with time I understood its failure and started to value my life more than studying, especially after the war.
    Also the fact that the more time you study, the less effective it is (not always, but lets be honest, it happens mostly), so ideally man should pick up a balance between optimal time studying (still being effective and not exhaustive) and time for entertainment
    Thank you again for your video! I love your sincerity and mindset!

      Thank you mate, appreciate the comment! It definitely isn’t easy but as you say, you can’t put your whole life on hold for 6 years. I still go through periods where I neglect everything else but always trying to improve. Look after yourself and continue to strive for that balance!

      Hey, I plan to make that the next video so look out for the next post! 😀 I plan to make the video on each subject/module and detail what to expect plus what advice I would give. Would you also like a video from a more general standpoint or is that what you were referring to?

    Hii
    I can know when you get vacations in Hungary like before starting a new semester or a new year

    • @CamMedLife
      @CamMedLife  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, we get roughly 2 months of official vacation in the summer between each year. However, if you manage to finish your exams early, then you will have the rest of the exam period off as well (I usually finish my exams in week 5 of the 7 week exam period). Another thing to take into account is that we have summer practice after our first, third and fourth year where we work in the hospital for 4 weeks in a specific department. So my summer usually looks like this: 2 weeks off where I can travel somewhere in Europe (due to finishing exams early), 4 weeks in the month of July doing summer practice and then roughly 5 weeks of vacation where I return home. Between semester 1 & 2 of each year, we only get 1 week of official vacation however it can be increased as well if you finish your exams early.

      @@Krishk.k915 No problem, no we don’t. Our semester runs from the first week of September until early December and then the exam period runs from early December to the middle of January.

    How many lectures do u have a day ?

    • @CamMedLife
      @CamMedLife  ปีที่แล้ว

      On average I would say we have somewhere between 2 and 4 lectures a day and then 1 or 2 practices/seminars (in smaller groups). It does depend on you though, which is nice. You have the opportunity to shuffle around your practices between different groups to personalise your schedule and most of the lectures are not compulsory…So, it is your decision whether to continue going because you feel that they are helpful or to stop going and use that time to self-study instead.
