Last time we were in Pakistan on our second day in the country we were invited to a family home for tea; which turned into a whole evening of Pakistani hospitality - and tea and laughs and dinner! We felt like the luckiest family to experience such warmth and welcome in Pakistan.
This time our good friend Adil has arranged for us to return again and reunite with the family.

I love channels like yours...a healthy balance of beautiful nature (like wadis and mountains of Morocco), cultures, historic sites, food, and most importantly knowledge (being a Pakistani even I didn't know that much about Minar-e-Pakistan before watching this video). Keep up the good work.
P.s. "Gurr walay chawal" literally translates to rice with gurr (also known as jaggery made from molasses of sugarcane). This is a Punjabi version of "Zarda" which are also a type of sweet rice popular all over Pakistan and India.

Gur is called Jaggery in English gur walay chawal means white plain basmati rice soaked in eater cooked with raisins and different dry fruits and nuts. Instead of sugar, to make it sweet, in taste, but some families preferred gur using Jaggery to make it sweet, which is a healthy option because in order to make crystal clear sugar it goes through different chemical processes while on other hand gur jaggery is made of just raw sugar cane juice with no preservatives or chemicals pure dried raw sugar
