I feel like if the team would have kept him alive, Wolfgang would end up being a Gary-Sue and just take over the trials, not leaving enough Damon time to grow. I am sad that he was the first to die, but, time for Damon’s character development.
@ I mean, I wouldn’t call Wolfgang a Gary-Sue per se, just saying he would become that if he continued to be in the killing game… like throwing everyone under the bus during the trials… like he would claim innocence among everyone and then get the cast killed. Idk.
Yeah I thought he would be the first victim, so much screen-time the red herring was obvious but I do think it was a great writing decision. Hats off to the team.
Very upsetting hoe the only two interesting characters died in the first chapter. Me personally, caused this to distance myself from the game and I'll probably not even bother to play the rest bur for anyone else: i wish y'all fun, hope they don't kill off those who have potential to be interesting too and leave you with boring people 🙏

The moment Damon realized where the footsteps came from, my immediate reaction was “There’s a body in the boiler room, isn’t there?”.

Me. When I watched the prologue and that everyone was trusting Wolfgang I was like “Yup. He’s going to die first”
Not me. I thought Eva was gonna be the first victim 😭

I wanted her to be the protagonist as a switch, but now it’s ruined.
