I really liked 'Unusual You' by Britney Spears and was playing around on my guitar one day and all of a sudden started singing this and thought it made an awesome acoustic guitar song. that's not really an excuse....a great singer should be able to perform under any conditions.
But the main point is that her songs could have been recorded by lots of artists. Not enough credit goes to the songwriters because they're the ones creating these "treasures"
yeah but britney makes the songs come alive. Anyone can write a song but britney brings them to life and makes them a lot better.
