@@HPMCCPooTis This would be the sixth, Kirby's Return to Dreamland for the Wii was the third to do so with all world names spelling out "CROWNED", before that was Canvas Curse for the DS with all levels spelling out "RAINBOW" and the first one to do so is Kirby's Adventure/Nightmare in Dreamland for the NES/GBA all spelling out "VIBGYOR" which is "ROYGBIV" backwards (those are the colors of each part of the rainbow).

2022 is really the ‘big’ year for Kirby as he celebrates his 30th birthday since the first game in the 1990s. The transition to 3D from the previous traditional mainline game was a ‘sucess’ with great soundtracks from this game as usual. Hopefully this series will continue for the long-run with more games being announced gradually.

Now imagine if Bandana Dee had a spinoff mode. That would be amazing because the main storyline makes sense. Parasol Dee from Kirby Star Allies (And other games with helpers) could be your partner similar to sword knight in KSSU's Meta Knightmare. The final boss could be something unique as well like Shadow Kirby. THAT would be the perfect chance to give the full RTDL crew their own unique spinoffs.

My favorite thing about this game is the nostalgia I get from hearing all the various tones and melodies that’s been tweaked and brought back. A good part of my childhood was spent next to my brother playing Kirby super star and kirbys avalanche. I also love how they brought back a lot of the old cast of villains. Those things paired with upgradable mimic abilities, cool levels, nice graphics makes it well worth the 60 bones in my eyes.

Kirby is one of the cutest characters in video games. Some people say that such games suitable for kids, but everybody, whether kid, young or old can enjoy switch games.

Finally, canon Morpho Knight, brought forth from the true final boss in conjunction with the butterfly that's been following Kirby ever since the first game. Now things are getting interesting.

I got this game the day after it came out, and I can say it’s absolutely phenomenal. I can tell the development team really went all-out in terms of its mechanics, characters and environments. I especially love how the final boss was conceptualized- not something I was expecting, but it has an awesome design, and I like how Elfilin was made to be the other half of the main antagonist rather than being full-on evil like other Kirby villains who initially allied with Kirby. Overall, I’d give this game a solid 9/10. Definitely one of the best games I’ve played not only on the Switch, but quite possibly in my life as well.
Also, if you’re reading this, BeardBear, thank you for uploading this walkthrough. Keep up the good work :)

Dude you have really earned my respect whenever some game comes out you get right on the game and do a 100% walkthrough you take a lot of time just to play games for hours and hours great job!
Also why dose the finale boss music change sometimes cuz I was watching another video and when they were fighting fecto E it was like haaaa haaaa like really calm then the music got hype but for you it was hype instantly
I'm glad to see you playing this. Before I was hoping the game would take more than 6 hours and after watching you video Im happy to know it takes 10 hours.

For most players just the main story without any side stuff or post game takes around 10-15 hours.
It's about an hour per world 100%
@@dumbbush1518 For me the game takes about 1,5-2 hours per world without even getting everything. I think the only people who actually get 100% in an hour per world are ones who already know where everything is and are purposely playing fast. I've watched plenty of streams of this game. For most players it's 1,5-2 hours per world without even getting 100%.

Yeah this game is pretty fun.
Managed to avoid spoilers and went in almost completely blind (sans seeing the trailers).
It’s a big, gloriously juicy game. I was somewhat miffed by the low copy ability count, as I assumed the evolutions would stop at mostly 2, and some having 3. But it was 3 on average and 4 for some of them.
And what it had, used it very well.
I couldn't care less about the Copy Ability count. I just don't like the lack of moves you can use for some abilities.
Kirby has had a great transition to 3D.

I just got this game today and so far so good, it’s got some pretty interesting mechanics in it and also some awesome new abilities when you evolve them

i'm very new to this series (grew up with no consoles, believe it or not), so i'm currently playing the series from the start - or well, almost, I've started with Super Star Ultra.
And i gotta mention one thing that i adore this game has done. The Waddle Dees and the evolution of their role in the series. they've gone from "waddle dees are the goombas of this game, the weakest enemy that doesn't even give anything special if consumed" to "waddle dees are the toads of this game, little generic but precious npcs that are 100% behind main character and their ruler".
Best character development i've seen and i'm here for it.
I really love the cinematic style this game has. I think a Kirby movie would be a great idea.

A very cool detail in the King Dedede fight at Winter Horns is that after you clear it for the first time, neither Kirby or Bandana Waddle Dee wave goodbye, cheer or celebrate after they get out of the stage in the minimap, doesn't matter if you saved all of the Waddle Dees in the stage or the entire world, they both stay completely silent, probably because of the sadness of losing Elfilin and the urge to rescue them, pretty cool!

Wow an open world 3D Kirby game that’s a first. Actually, one of the scrapped iterations of Kirby’s Return To Dream Land was a 3D platform game just like Forgotten Land, but it was scrapped and became a 2D platformer instead. Kirby’s Return To Dream Land was in development for 11 years before the game was finally released for the Wii
It ain’t open world, though I wonder if there’s still something left from Kirby GCN

I Still Have This Kirby Game in 2023 and For a Game That is almost 2 Years old. This Still Looks Beautiful & Amazing for 3D! If Nintendo Ever Decided to Make a Another New Kirby Game i Hope they Stick to This Format in 3D instead of the 2D Version.

By the way, High-Intensity Action games with Intuitive controls are Great for keeping your mind so engaged (in 5-20 min. bursts) that it's too busy to feel most of the pain!
I figured this out around 22 years ago. Unfortunately, whatever game(s) you use will become personally associated with pain - to illustrate your point.
@@L.Alchemy That's true too. Going for 100% in Super Mario 64 DS is a pain if you don't know where to find all the stars - and some of them are hard as heck. Or if you are scared of heights and have to play Rainbow Ride, that can also be a struggle. But the satisfaction after getting these specific stars is especially big. So in the end, if you have good or bad memories of a game depends on the outcome of your efforts.

I have a question: are these time limits in the treasure roads important to the 100%?
I think it's just star coin bonuses, as long as you finish before the timer ends, it counts as full completion

Even the Nintendo 64 didn’t have a 3D Kirby game. I was dying for Kirby to make this debut. I’m gonna play it today.
Closest one was Crystal Shards, but even then it's 99% side scrolling... Nintendo gave Mario the special treatment because of course they did.

I recently got this game, and it was my first ever Kirby game, so I had a lot to learn as I played so this video helped me a lot especially when I decided to 100% this game without this video I would have taken much, much, MUCH longer to complete it so thanks for this video!!! Also, thanks for showing the locations of all of the healing items made not dying so much easier (Even if using this as a guide wasn't the intended purpose of this video)...

In all seriousness, I liked how this game kinda subverts the usual Kirby troupes. I mean, The whole EX world is devoted to saving the character that’s the fake final boss, that ends up getting possessed by the true final boss (The President Haltmann of this game). Love it!
Edit: Also, the fact that Clawoline was the one who saved Elifilin, feels like an extended middle finger to everyone who didn’t like her design when it was first revealed. Which I also love!

No boost gameplay. No on rails garbage. Just do what Kirby does here: Take the 2D formula and put it in a 3D playing field.
Then how tf would sonic go fast lol. These games are too dependent on platforming for this to be your idea of how to implement sonic into 3d lmao.

They already did it before. In the Adventure games. Even the fan base got it right with SRB2. I’m not asking for Adventure 3 with all the bells and whistles or a bunch of characters. I just want that style of gameplay and level design to come back for Sonic.
I believe 06’s approach to it, at least in concept (p06 is a better example), is the best one imo.
You have the adventure like style with super speed sections for situations where speed is truly needed.

@@rodrickgoldberg2324 sure but even in those games there were speed sections. platforming like in this game isnt really a for front. the only difference between the adventure games and the boost games is the boost, and all it did was make sonic go faster, and i thought that was the whole point. the only point where platforming mattered in a sonic game was when your playing a 2d sonic game or playing a charcter that isnt sonic or shadow.
