Two things summarize its brilliance: 1) The reaction from Fletcher and Heinze. 2) It marks probably the last time superstars were dealt with real aggression.... I have never seen a defender doing the kick that Evra did against Messi or Ronaldo. To do that play at this level, you had to have some balls of steel. Now, if you are Messi or Ronaldo (specially Messi) you can't be touched by a defender. And if someone touches you, it's red card. Big billion dollar business to protect, I get it, but it made watching football lame
