I remember Jade was so in love with Jasper, though he was feisty. Now Onix is like that, but Jade is over that, and Jasper apparently doesn't remembers being a crazy potato. And Jet, well he is a saintly doggo.

She has said previously that another J name would be too confusing, so she stuck with the semi-precious stone theme.
