The algorithm is more likely to pick up on channels which update with a regular frequency. Doesn't have to be every day, but just a steady and dedicated pattern.

    Thank you. I've ordered on the basis of your reviews. Here in the UK, it seems to be called V2 not Elite. Due to wrist issues, I cannot do flat push ups at this time so I'm hoping I can do push ups with these without stressing the wrists too much. I am hoping that the rotation will help the wrist naturally find a 'best angle' when doing the motion.

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, that's really what they are best for. They try to sell it as more than that, but it is really just a way to help with wrist pain. Good luck!

    I just bought some and yes Ibwated your review first. I did push ups before with regular bars and the floor as well avout 50 every other day. I can tell you when i get on these I do shake a bit because you have to work to keep them stable in one place. I find that it makes pushuos a bit hard and my core works a bit more as well ad my fore arms and that is a good thing.

    • @GamerBody

      It may just be that you haven't develop the skill of this movement yet. It won't take long to learn it and be fine doing the exercise, just make sure you work on the movement 1st before trying anything fancy or adding more resistance.

    Is there more dust in the room with such a carpet ? This can be checked using the air intake on a PC.

    • @GamerBody

      Most likely. I haven't used the PC method before, but I just make sure to vacuum from time to time. In my new place (since this video was done a long time ago) I workout on a wood surface and don't deal with it as much. I also have a ROKU device cleaning every day to get dog hair as best it can.

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      No different than simple push-ups. They help with wrists and are a bit more comfortable, but in terms of results they are the same as just doing standard push-ups.

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Maybe slightly but otherwise no. If you don't have any type of pain or don't care for bars then don't buy them, just do standard push-ups. I like them as I feel more comfortable but there's no big additional benefit. Save your money for something more worth while :)

      Would the ab carver or any other wheel help get rid of that stubborn fat

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@treyg8148 Unfortunately the only way to remove stubborn fat is through a calorie deficit (from my understanding of the current nutrition). Based on everything I have read and watched, your genetics play a large role in how your body burns fat and where it comes off first. There have been some articles here and there that like to say there might be a chance it can help burn it in a certain area, but no definitive proof from what I see.
      As it stands, that fat may just be the last place you lose it. For me, the lower back is the last place I lose fat and it is very annoying. It's just one of those things in life. Can I lose it, yes, but it will take a very long time to do so. Keep being consistent and you will get there!

      It still comes down to that same issue. Remember as you lose body fat, you body slows down your metabolism to compensate. Maybe try a quick refeed then go back into the deficit to see if that helps jumpstart it

    Hello, I can see you rotate from out to in, how about the opposite? Same muscles are involved? Are these good for biceps and triceps?

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It really doesn't work the other way. You could probably force it, but it won't feel natural to go the opposite direction.
      For all pushing exercises, some triceps will be involved. For push-ups, it is a focus on the chest but your triceps will assist. A small amount of biceps may as well, but it will be very little compared to the chest and triceps.
      Biceps focus on mostly pulling movements. I hope this helps!

    Is the rotating action better or worse for your elbows?

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As long as you are in control it is fine. The issue comes when you flare your elbows too far. The elbows should stay within a 45 degree angle to your body for regular push-ups. It also makes the movement feel more natural when rotating but the biggest plus is how it helps your wrists if you feel pain doing normal push-ups.

    Hey, finally got these delivered. what should i do if these make me feel pain in my palms? It definitely removed wrist pain which i like, but after using this to complete about half my pushing workout, i started to feel pain in my palms that made it hard to complete my full reps. Maybe i just need to get used to using it, cause i’m pretty sure i’m gripping it correctly.

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That was the issue I had with the originals but the elite version doesn't hurt for me. Make sure you grip then well to try and take some pressure off of the mid palm. Hopefully that helps lessen the pain when using them

    I still have a set of original Perfect Pushup bars from probably 15 years ago that work just as good as they did on day 1. No, my set isn't nearly as good as this newer version, but I credit these bars for helping with a lot of development on my chest over the years, which actually did translate over to my bench press at the gym. Highly recommended product to anyone. Even people who lift heavy. If done right, pushups are excellent for "speed work" to activate fast-twitch muscle fibers which will translate over to the bench press and help increase your max.

    hey, great video. I was wondering if these were good for stuff like planches. Most people use wooden paralletes for such since their sweat doesen't get in the way. But those are a bit out of my budget.

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Or would be pretty tough with them. I'd save up for maybe the Lebert fitness paralletes instead for that exercise.

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jgsource552 yeah and the base might not be big enough to support your weight properly or to not roll over. They are good for standard push-ups, but unless you can control a planches well, I would not use this over a standard parallete :/ I don't want you getting hurt or breaking the bars.

    • @jgsource552

      GamerBody weight doesen’t it support 400 pounds? And i’m only 154lbs. But yea, i might just stick to not using it with planches until i’ve mastered it. But they are still good for stuff like l sits and handstand pushups though right?

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah for those they work fine. I'd be most concerned with them rolling if you can't control the planche. You may be fine, but I don't know your level so I'm not sure. Just want to be safe :)

    Why are you not twisting when you go down?!

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  ปีที่แล้ว

      The "twist" doesn't change your results. Stressing/fatiguing the chest does. Use these push-up bars to make the push-up motion more comfortable. You really only need to go from about a 45 degree elbow angle (bottom of movement) to palms parallel (top of movement). Anything else is a waste and you may even open yourself up to injury if your flare your elbows too much.

    • @GamerBody

      Kind of, you can get the hands close together. But you won't be able to make the diamond shape. It will simply be angled handles which will still work the same muscles.

    can you develop chest muscle by simply using perfect push ups?

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as the resistance of your body is enough progression to tell your body to build muscle. I add on a weighted backpack now but depending on your level it can. It isn't the push-up bars deciding muscle though.

    • @wreckingopossum
      @wreckingopossum 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can add resistance bands to help you with more than bodyweight pushups. Just double it over your back and under your hands. Use the ones marketed as "Pull-up Assist" or "Loop Resistance Bands" rather than the tube ones (IMO)

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hate band pushups. I know a lot of people are showing them off online, but if you do them and start getting to the larger bands, it is the most uncomfortable exercise, ever. I'd rather use a bar for band chest press, or if I had to, do a band chest press with the bands over my back but pressing with my hands (not in a pushup, but more of a press to fly motion)
